IMO it's your bog standard porn scene, typical of what's on 100s of sites. Some shot a bit better a lot shot worse. They lack feeling, emotion and anything for the viewer to grab onto to aid his fantasy. They have no "hook". So just the same as 95% of the porn shot today.

Average to nice. And absolutely zero reason for a surfer to sign up to a site or stay a members. It's faceless porn.

It looks like a newbie as he's contacting me to sell it. the prices he paid for models were unrealistic.

In today's market you aren't going to get as much as I'm sure he probably wants. I would say I can't imagine getting more than $1000 to $1500 a scene for those, 100% exclusive, all masters, etc.

I tend to agree with you. I think he should broker them non exclsuve and give them to as many brokers as he can. We could probably sell these non exclusive 20 times at $50 no worries. Then there are other brokers with clients and he can sell again via them.

He ends up with more money and still owns the content.

Well I wouldn't say it's a million miles away. Even so, it's the same faceless "Porn Valley" style porn, without the comedy to link it and 10 years or longer it sold on DVDs. Put 5 scenes like this on a DVD and market it for $7 to the shops. Today we're in a totally different arena.

So $1,500 wouldnt even be enough to break even. Not even close.

Selling prices have nothing to do with what it costs to produce.

What rules the selling price is what people are prepared to pay for it. Today a BG scene is probably tops worth $2,000 to most of the online market and for every Brazzers paying a lot there are dozens who want to pay less. I recently spoke to a producer who got a large contract to shoot BG content. The problem was the price he was shooting it for. arond $1500 a scene. At those prices it leads to cut price productions, bad porn and lost customers.

The problem is paying what it needs to get a good shooter to do a good job. Few if any can really afford that today.
