Quad Turbo Lambo [PIC]

Was shooting at a car show and borrowed this to shoot some models on. The guy actually built it himself for £40k ($64k). It has some beast of a BMW engine in it with quad turbo pumping out 700 BHP! Best home build I have ever seen :thumbsup

djroof 07-01-2011 06:30 AM

Jon Oso 07-01-2011 06:31 AM

Did you get any engine bay shots? ...

Chosen 07-01-2011 06:48 AM

Cool :thumbsup

Cypherpunk 07-01-2011 06:55 AM

I only got one shot of the engine, sorry its not that good but there was another panel open at the back preventing me shooting straight in from the rear.

you can have it parked near your hirise where you rent a studio and feel good.

Altwebdesign 07-01-2011 07:29 AM

Rochard 07-01-2011 08:25 AM

Not bad at all for $64k.

L-Pink 07-01-2011 08:30 AM

Do you know the story behind the BMW motor in the car?

It's a fairly popular crate engine for current kit cars here.

96ukssob 07-01-2011 08:49 AM

brassmonkey 07-01-2011 08:54 AM

Im not sure but I know there was a feature in one of the kit car mags here just a month or so ago with a huge feature on this car. If you want a lot of info on this car shoot me a msg and I will hit up the owner for you :)

dallasnovelty 07-01-2011 09:23 AM

Thats pretty sweet for sure. Not all but some of the really low exotic cars like that have a driveway ascension kit which usually is just a hydraulic ram to lift the front a few inches to clear a driveway or garage entrance or service bay. I saw one on an Enzo here in Plano going into the parking garage, the owner had to come show the valet because it was scraping his airdam/chin spoiler LOL

scarlettcontent 07-01-2011 09:48 AM

nice wheels!

michael.kickass 07-01-2011 10:13 AM

shimmy2 07-01-2011 11:35 AM

Awesome to look at hell to drive. Sweet car :thumbsup

I prefer more practical cars, but that does look pretty sweet.

Yeah it can be raised with the touch of a button on the dash. Same goes for every panel on the car, boot, engine bay etc all opened and closed by the touch of a button. Really nice car, wish I had the time to shoot it properly but we were quite rushed that day.

thickcash_amo 07-01-2011 04:51 PM

I would like to see the pics of the models with the car

stach14 07-01-2011 04:55 PM

Very sweet ride.

bloggerz 07-01-2011 05:17 PM

Too many potholes here for that car

waltgator 07-01-2011 05:26 PM

very nice indeed!

Jakez 07-01-2011 08:32 PM

$64,000 and it's not a real Lamborghini? You can probably get the real one for that price lol. Hell I know the Ferrari 360's are in the $60,000-$70,000 range now. Cool car though, I'm sure he had more fun building it than a person does driving a real Lambo.

Diomed 07-02-2011 12:15 AM

I just never thought that those ultra sports cars ever looked that great.

I would much rather ride in something more luxurious and comfortable, not something that has been stripped down for speed.
