I have a friend who accidentally massively overdosed on 5-meo-dmt - and flopped wildly around the room for 15 minutes, came back to consciousness and could not remember any of it.

When I was young, I took too much jimsonweed and did something similar. Wild trip tho.

Using the correct dose is important with all drugs.

Salvia is not all that interesting, a boring one-note psychedlic, but because it's legal it will be used for rite-of-passage overdose stunts like the one in the video.

I've tried salvia twice and the first time I took a bong hit from a small bowl, didn't even light it all, and when I tripped I felt like I was one of the pieces of wood along a very long wooden fence lol, I was literally like a face on a plank of wood on a fence peacefully overlooking an endless grass field, it was awesome as far as out of body experiences go. Second time I took a hit I had some like rastafarian music or something playing in the background on youtube while I was laying down on the bed, and when I tripped the visuals I had were of me laying down on like a small moving flatped transport cart operated by bicycle full of vegetables and whatnot headed for a local market in some 3rd world country, trippy stuff.

At first after they banned it here in FL I was kind of pissed, but I'm glad I had some peaceful trips and tried the stuff with no negative effects or bad trips.

I smoked Salvia once and even though the high only lasts a few minutes...it was intense.

5meodmt is really something you should start with a very low dose and slowly work your way up. Great stuff. I've seen plenty of people do WAY too much and have similar reactions.

Jimsonweed/datura is a fucking horrid thing to do and produces true hallucinations that you actually believe are real. That's the kind of shit that will make you vacuum your parents living room naked at 4 am.

BTW I highly disagree with you about salvia being 'boring' and 'one-note'.

I have some around here somewhere, I never get around to it. And after seeing a bunch of these kinds of videos, it's definitely a situational kind of drug.

I have about a pound of it that i've been meaning to make into salvia blotter. Sub-lingual is a lot different than smoked and less intense. Whenever you do anything, its all about set and setting.

I once did two tabs of acid, back when acid was acid, and tripped for 17 hours. I was really fucking high, but never was out of my mind enough to jump out of a window.

Reminds me of a couple acid trips I took back in college. Experimenting was fun but watching that I'm glad I am past all that now...

Possibly so - I'm comparing it to lsd, pscilocin, and mescaline, all of which for me had complex storylines and seemed to be nearly endless in complexity.

But maybe I didn't take salvia often enough or in enough different set and settings.

For me the salvia was mostly about immersing in cellular wisdom - it felt very plantlike - strong cellular visualizations in some ways similar to the geometric visualizations you get with mescaline and dmt. Some sense of commuication with plantlike entities - slow, flowing, immersive, but kinda stuck in the immersion.

Yes, jimsonweed is about as dangerous as it gets I would say.

My poor wife had to handle me on it, I'm a big guy, and was hallucinating like fuck but totally disassociated. I was lucky.

Fascinating insights from the hallucinations tho. If you could figure out a way to take it safely it would make an amazing rite-of-passage plant. I dont regret doing it, just feel lucky I didn't end up in jail or hospital.
