I miss doing gallery submissions

It's too bad it's so tough to make sales doing it, these days. :(

Definitely can still recommend The Hun - he will list you if you send him good looking galleries and is always good for some sales.

Chosen 07-01-2011 10:28 AM

Ratios from The Hun listings suck for a long time now... :pimp

CaptainHowdy 07-01-2011 10:29 AM

How could you miss that?? It was a painful, and mostly ungrateful, task ...

Agreed - the ratios are bad - but bandwidth is so inexpensive these days, it's alright. Plus think about how much exposure you get (whether someone buys right then or not)

I haven't been sending galleries for a couple of years
But not because there are no sales - just a couple of weeks ago I had a couple listed and in total made about seven sales

I don't know.. I just enjoyed it, for some reason.

wehateporn 07-01-2011 10:37 AM

If you are getting withdrawal symptoms I'm sure there are people here who will pay you to submit their galleries, that way it can once again be profitable

I still do submit, though not so to make sales, more as branding for my own sites. If I couldn't have my logo I wouldn't be interested

That is interesting. I never really thought of that.

pornmasta 07-01-2011 03:26 PM

How do you build your traffic without galleries submission ?
xrumer ?
"User uploaded" tube ?

Chris 07-01-2011 03:41 PM

meh use it for backlinks for your epic tube sites :D

buildingfutures 07-01-2011 03:41 PM

We built a custom gallery generator.. So the whole process of making a gallery and submitting it takes about 5 minutes.

If you want you can do a few a day for us. I mean, if you miss it that much :D

nikki99 07-01-2011 09:09 PM

I am still submitting galleries

jimmycooper 07-01-2011 10:28 PM

I started submitting them at the beginning of April. My goal was to average 2 per day for 3 month, wait a couple weeks, run the numbers, and then determine whether or not it's worth it continue. It will be 3 months on Tuesday and I've averaged 1.7 per day.
Without even looking at the numbers, I can say that it's been worth it simply for the fact that the process you go through, or at least the process I go through when figuring out what to submit pretty much ensures that you will always be on top of what's out there.

I know what you mean. Back in the day it was a rush to get galleries listed at The Hun, Sublime, Persian Kitty etc and just see that traffic steamroll in and on a good day you could pull in quite a few sales.

Being creative with that traffic it was a pretty easy way to make silly money. But manual labor for sure.

MrMaxwell 07-04-2011 01:54 PM

The Hun is still good for some sales if you have something unique.
I don't know of anywhere else worth sending galleries to, though.

Tried cham last year, and it wasn't worth the time fooling with it, at all.. I should have got the PA requester, I guess, but the gist of what I saw was the all of the tgps worth being on at all went to charging for PAs and they weren't really worth it

I had a shemp PA for awhile and it was pretty damned good. Definitely more than paid for itself and then some and then some. He's great to deal with, too

I definitely recommend Shemp and The Hun - they are both just wonderful to deal with - great people with great attitudes

Worldsex sucks - communication is nearly impossible - no sales that I could ever find out of the traffic... Pierre is prompt sometimes but will read 5-6 words of a 30 word e-mail and reply to the part he wants to

JuicyBunny 07-04-2011 02:00 PM

We still submit, to places you mentioned and others. I think probably only real customers left is that traffic. Maybe blog traffic too.
Tubes? yeah right...

hun is still best for that job, not like before in terms of sales, but still can help

BVF 07-04-2011 07:22 PM

fuck the hun...He never listed me even though I've been putting out fresh homemade porn for YEARS....Now his traffic is worthless to me, fuck em.

Martin 07-04-2011 09:18 PM

I did a few galleries last month and I'm converting a CCBill sponsor at 1:600

icymelon 07-04-2011 11:01 PM

You're out of line and fresh does not equal hot.

margarita 07-05-2011 01:32 AM

There is still money in submitting

Submitting with chameleon or specific partner accounts?

Oracle Porn 07-05-2011 01:49 AM

Old school tgp selling partner accounts, jesus guarantees you will make profit...icq me

Emil 07-05-2011 02:19 AM

I submitted galleries before the partner-account thing started.
I used to promote a bondage-site at gigacash and they paid $42/signup.
I was so happy when I had made 4 signups over the night. Good times, lol.

OneHungLo 07-05-2011 03:32 AM

I never tried to submit there but i have bought many times and his traffic has always been gold for me.

shit, i think my best gallery did over 250+ signups on 1 listing back in the day.

That is so true.. We still do gallery submissions.. and we get small amount of sales from our TGP unless we get listed on big sites like Hun..

I think BLOGS are key for sales now a days.. :thumbsup

You have just what he looks for... very very unique content.. I have listed a gallery FOR you, before... Didn't get any sales for some reason and I am not sure why because your content is perfect for his audience

Don't ever think traffic is worthless simply because it doesn't always produce sales. The more exposure your brand has, the stronger it gets... I would definitely give it another try - they're very easy to work with and will always help you to be listed!

Every time you have a listing 50,000 to 300,000 new sets of eyes see your brand.. whether they buy or not, they know about you at least in the back of their minds somewhere

Not owning a program I don't get credit for people who tell people who buy, people who go and buy later, people who are upsold, people who leave and rejoin later, etc etc etc

YOU CAN though, see :thumbsup

Back in the day at least it was a lot like fishing... except you weren't sitting in the sun in the great outdoors taking in the scenery and fresh air. But other than all that it was JUST like fishing. :D

I mean, you'd bait your hook (create gallery), then cast your line in the water (hand-submit gallery to 50+ TGPs), and wait for a fish to bite (watch your stats go up), then reel em in (check the mailbox for sponsor cheques).

Got my best sales from Shemp, the hun, al4a and a few others. Then lesser amounts of sales from gregpix, elephantlist, worldsex, snakesworld, etc.

No, the OP is right, those were pretty good days, good times. I remember getting 6 sales in one day on a few different occasions from Shemp's site, on a bangbus gallery about a month or two after bangbus went live. 8-to-14 sales a day total, and that was just from one sponsor. Most of us were pushing one to three dozen at any given time. Why would anyone NOT miss times like that? For about 3-4 hours work every morning the rewards were sweet.

I had a guy from Indian doing everything for me. I'd go golfing pretty much everyday. Or whatever else I wanted to do. I wasn't even paying for hosting either. :waaaaahh

96ukssob 07-05-2011 08:22 PM

like most i made a killing back in 2002-2004 doing it manually. in 2004 (maybe 2005) I picked up an automated script and did 5x less work and make 2-3x more money... was a great ride while it happened.

ive done a few recently but its not worth paying for submit accounts anymore, they really dont convert and with the risks of some programs not paying, not worth it IMO.

once I get caught up, which at this rate looks like never, id like to move into submitting videos

porno jew 07-05-2011 08:36 PM

Offer still stands.. If you like submitting, I'll give you access to our FHG generator. You can pick your photos, thumbnails and even text. Generate a gallery and submit it. Takes 10 minutes tops.

All our galleries get accepted to The Hun.

If I ever figure out which CCBill ID I used, or what my login is, I would paste the stats... I don't imagine that you could look me up by my name? I guess that I can get with CCBill and find all of my IDs - it'd be interesting to see what the stats were .... they go back a long time, right???

Anyone in the Netherlands always seems great to work with... I love sending galleries to The Hun... Mr. Review and I e-mail now and then just to make conversation, even, they are just great people..... and he actually asks ME to send galleries sometimes because I forget to do it for months at a time

MrMaxwell 07-06-2011 01:53 PM

As an aside, is it worth doing tube site submissions? All sources inside of my brain say NO... but who knows?
