Anyone know of a script where people can list there twitter streams?

I want to make a news site where if someone signed up they can add their domain and twitter account and have this site list all the twitter streams. Ultimately streaming thousands of twitter streams. Not even sure if this makes since.

Can you maybe use something like this and store the users id as a variable then write out the code with the var in it wherever you're putting it?

Best of luck with it.

all twitter streams have their own rss so you could pipe that through something like googles feedburner which would spit out an html code you could put on the given page, so you could have a page loaded with the html snippets showing the twitter streams i believe.

Good ideas guys, I think it would have to be based on the rss some how.

I would need a place to submit their twitter account then the script would grab that users twitter rss and mesh into all the rest for one long stream on the front page.

I also would need to stream to update in real time.

I can see how it would get messy with hundreds of sites. But a cool way to see the twitter updates for just the sites you want. I have seen this with keywords but not actual rss twitter rss feeds.

I got it work a little, you can see it here http://webhostingtimes.com/

But I can't seem to get rid of the code showing up top and I need to filter the tweets to 5 per user.

Couple things I'm working on.

Kind of I actually got it dialed in www.webhostingtimes.com

I wanted to choose the feeds and have them mesh together in one stream on the front page. Next I might have a new page with the last 5 posts meshed together on a new page.

Also I'm working on making a new RSS from the meshed stream.

you can use search operators to have them combined.

Yep my problem now is the stream is only showing about 25 tweets. I think Twitter is limiting how much I can pull.

See what you can do with www.TweetBig.com

i think you can pull more than that, i do know the api limit is quite small, well not small, but nothing drastic thast you can pull 200+ tweets at once.

read up more on the api.
