I have decent luck with twitter promoting some mainstream stuff, but never really did too much to promote my adult webcam sites.

set up a twitter as a camgirl, and started tweeting and got a couple hundred followers, but stopped once a friend told me could be a problem since ANYONE can follow me, including people under 18 which could eventually lead to problems. i had never really thought about it, but i guess it makes sense...

I've heard some under 18s get given access to the internet too. So they might find 'websites' with 'porn' on.
