Rick Diculous 07-04-2011 07:55 PM

I use Amerinoc and I always had excellent service. Tickets are answered withing 20 minutes and they have always helped me and I don't know shit about hosting

drmadcat 07-04-2011 07:56 PM

dreamhost sounds good unlimited band and storage i dont like the sound of webair as a lot of people on here pull it down

sicone 07-04-2011 07:56 PM

I'm trying to figure out if this is a serious question or if you're just pumping up the post count

drmadcat 07-04-2011 07:58 PM

why would i pump up post count

fris 07-04-2011 07:59 PM

go with dedicated, you will need it sooner or later anyway

TubeKing 07-04-2011 08:00 PM

Amerinoc is top notch and doesn't use shitty cpanel like hostgator does.

Hi,

I'm not sure what is going on with you, but I've followed your threads for 3 days now, we've seen you open up live chats, you never respond and I have then personally emailed you three times to the email address you've used and you haven't replied back (Spam Folder?), as I type this you are trying to contact us on live chat and have been responded to already... hopefully, it works out this time. :)

Happy 4th to all the Yankees. :drinkup

Easy. Take a look at DWB's thread about hostgator. Their support techs didn't even realize that they were hosting a site. They weren't knowledgeable enough to use basic networking tools to figure it out. You definitely want AmeriNOC. No brainer. I find it really odd that no one has gotten back to you yet.

Oops. I see you've managed to place an order. Good deal, you won't be sorry. AmeriNOC on the otherhand? I hope they have infinite patience, and I think they do.

18teens 07-04-2011 08:51 PM

You made an excellent move going with Amerinoc :thumbsup

CYF 07-04-2011 08:53 PM

Amerinoc rocks :thumbsup

woj 07-04-2011 09:12 PM

drmadcat 07-04-2011 09:33 PM

amerinoc direct admin is so easy (happy at last) big thumbs up to amerinoc

garce 07-04-2011 10:35 PM

I can't believe you compared Amerinoc to fucking Hostgator.

Sounds like you're at Amerinoc now. Welcome to the club. Great host.

Loki 07-04-2011 11:46 PM

As everyone else in this thread said Amerinoc For The Win!!

Hostgator is indeed cheap AND you get what you pay for lol, YES they have 24/7 support BUT nine times out of ten in my past experience it's like asking the fry station guy about open heart surgery lol.

Just because someone is there to answer your call does NOT mean they will be able to help you sadly.

Anyway it matters not, you went with the right host :)

Nicky 07-05-2011 02:32 AM

You made the right choice.

247mg 07-05-2011 03:51 AM

whats wrong with you
i was asking for peoples options

raymor 07-05-2011 10:26 AM

Amerinoc is a million times better than HostGator. Amerinoc is a company of server experts who
have been doing sysadmin for decades. HostGator is a company of marketers who don't even
have access to the data center. The Amerinoc folks could probably build servers from scratch,
starting with wire and a soldering gun. The HostGator folks have never even SEEN the servers.

Markul 07-05-2011 11:00 AM

Stay away from DH.

Servers with amerinoc for reasons above, useless shit with gator.

I've used all 4 and now use Amerinoc for dedicated and have one shared plan with gator.

Markul 07-05-2011 11:02 AM

Good choice btw

AnimeFevers 07-05-2011 11:36 AM

Title is funny because I use both.

Adraco 07-05-2011 11:51 AM

I'm with Amerinoc and for all good reasons. I'll never move.

HomerSimpson 07-05-2011 04:49 PM

I've emailed Amerinoc couple of times but they just don't answer their emails...
I tried using their hosting once but since they don't provide cPanel it was pain in the ass...

I had Level 6 VPS at HostGator and I can say it worked very well and their support is really good.

TubeKing 07-05-2011 04:55 PM

Cpanel sucks, anyone that thinks it's better than directadmin is a full on retard, no offense of course.

Right...
Hundreds of tickets a day are answered here usually in under 10 minutes. And you have emailed us a couple times and no one answers it? I don't believe it especially since you are advertising a competitor in your sig.
Next!

Klen 07-05-2011 05:46 PM

Never had problem with support on amerinoc, they always answer in relatively fast time.

drmadcat 07-05-2011 06:33 PM

when i used live chat the sales guy said he had slots available in vps that i wanted or he could build me a new slot for a bigger plan in under 2 hours i think that is very good service

AliGbone 07-05-2011 06:43 PM

see sig! if you dont see is now you will see it eventually ;) Ameriknock, Fatserverz, whats da name of the next fail? If you iz watching dis in da UK, you may remember me from da telly. If you iz in Belgium... you iz living in a shit hole.

here come da wa waaaaa's brace yorself

PornStarToys 07-05-2011 10:08 PM

Just have to speak up for hostgator, if you have an advanced question use the Ticket System. Many of their high-level techs are VERY smart. If you get an idiot just ask to be transfered to someone else.

Regardless I'm sure you made a good choice. Amerinoc seems to have gone out of their way to support you.

johnny o 07-05-2011 10:47 PM

amerinoc's been good so far, my daily problem arrises at 12:00a.m. los angeles time when they back up their mail servers. my internet connection times out on thunderbird (which is always open) and all my web pages i'm on time out as well. they haven't fixed it yet, (nor do i think they plan to)

LeRoy 07-05-2011 10:59 PM

Get an account @ both of them. :2 cents:

See for yourself :thumbsup

your inet times out because your host backs up their mail servers?

LiveDose 07-05-2011 11:19 PM

We have accounts with both and are happy with both.

yes, midnight every night if thunderbird is open. otherwise it doesn't. thunderbird keeps trying to check a connection that's not there, so it times out.

amerinoc has confirmed via email that 12am pacific time is when the backups take place. they told me it shouldn't be more than a half hour or so lol.

CamTraffic 07-06-2011 04:51 AM

how much amerinoc charge for an additional IP?

no they don't, the content is backed up nightly which causes some heavy disk I/o .

asdfqwer 07-10-2011 03:57 PM

Seven years with Amerinoc and still counting.

blackmonsters 07-10-2011 06:30 PM

Amerinoc kicked me off of their servers.

:1orglaugh

goddess69 08-13-2011 02:13 PM

4 months with Amerinoc, 10 tickets opened and 6 of them about all sites hosted are down or loading slow... I looked a lot before purchase with Amerinoc, and now I'm sure that next year will close this bad host. I use different hosting solutions like dreamhost, bluehost, icertified, hostgator... and my experience with all of them much better than Amerinoc
