Just watched Ironman 2 and those monitors and tv's look sweet with no frame.

Could it be that they are not real monitors but Green Screens which are used to key in the video pictures in post ?

Yes, of course, but I thought maybe they can exist and just not in production or hard to find.

Some of the new Samsung's are very close to having no edge. Pretty slick.

With todays TFT and plasma technology it's not yet possible. There must be some space around the glass for the electrical contacts and the line/row drivers.
It's possible by projecting the video from front or back to a diffuse glass, but maybe not exactly what you are looking for.

I have just seen a commercial playing in the mirror at a car dealership restroom with no break in glass, very cool!

I have seen one in person ....they look really slick.

I was actually thinking of getting it for the house as soon as my old 42 inch gateway plasma dies. (unfortunately, that one is such a work horse I doubt it will die soon.
