?Pirate? Admins Sweat As ICE Reveal Extradition Criteria

Last month it was revealed that the UK-based admin of TVShack.net is fighting an extradition request filed by the US government. The site?s domain was seized as part of Operation in Our Sites but according to new comments from ICE, more individuals could now be sought by US authorities. Cutting through jurisdictional issues, ICE say they only need to show one thing to seek extradition of an admin ? that his or her ?pirate? site has a .COM or .NET domain....

The U.S. is an evil decadent broken empire. People sharing files is certainly not serious enough to warrant extradition. Hollywood pays off their bought off politicians and judges to make draconian laws to take away people's civil liberties simply because we choose to share files. The MPAA and RIAA are corporate goons interested in milking hat last bit of money out if they have to kill you. Its fast becoming a police state here.

The military is evil, they have wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and now Libya. This unnecessary aggression has bankrupted the U.S. economy. The U.S. want to police the world. The American people suffer. First the real estate market crashes, followed by the Auto industry, the the real estate industry. The wall street thieves steal taxes from the American people to cover their theft, now, since they learned no lesson they are doing the same thing. Except this time we won't cover their theft. Mark my words there will be a 2nd American revolution if not extreme civil unrest.

Only nazis like ERIC VERDE can support a NAZI GOV or Guantanamo. And he was happy with BUSH, the faggot fucker.

So america now thinks .com and .net is theirs? Or why is it they dont go for other extensions?

TheDA 07-05-2011 02:10 PM

IF this guy gets extradited to the US on the back of this, it opens up a load of people to the same.

Not good.

Barry-xlovecam 07-05-2011 02:30 PM

Torrent freak so so full of bullshit ...
In order to extradite for a crime;
  1. Both nations must recognize the act as a crime.
  2. The penalty of both nations must be roughly the same (generally capital punishment or long prison sentences in one nation as opposed to the other is a barrier to extradition).
  3. The extraditing nation must prove that the crime occurred on their soil (jurisdiction).

Upon descent into the US one pirate said to another:

Prison Ahoy!

interesting
what about tube sites then and uploaded content by "users"

tubes can use our content, as long as they dont have any illegal stuff on their sites such as underage..or beastiality

Indeed, LoL :pimp

Whois privacy doesn't mean shit when you are a government and can issue a subpoena.

The privacy advocate turns over the records they don't go into court to contest the subpoena even if the government is not in the privacy advocates jurisdiction. No privacy advocate is going to take the legal route to protect you that is ludicrous.

Privacy registrations are open registrations to governmental authorities.

I assume the statement was made in jest :upsidedow:upsidedow:upsidedow

We do this all the time if it's a US-based privacy registration service. I have always received what's been requested and we are not government but it does take a subpoena.
