Not Guilty

Now I wish I had watched the case closer. Based on the opinion of the legal experts on GFY, they must have had a pretty crappy prosecutor.

I find it very interesting that her parents had no reaction and left early. I know there were allegations of abuse. The kid is dead, someone is responsible. Eyes are going to be pointed towards them now. Probably deservedly.

the kid is dead, someone knows how, and they aren't talking. it is absolutely stunning.

Being local I've followed it since the day the child was first reported missing with the infamous 911 call by the Grandmother when she says her granddaughter is missing and it smells like there has been a dead body in the car.

My feeling is the mother is responsible for her daughter's death.

The Prosecution had little evidence to work with and the Defense threw everything they could to provide doubt with which they succeeded.

The child is dead and the body was disposed of. Someone did it and I'm shocked nobody will be held accountable.

Exactly what I think. I haven't been paying too much attention to the case, but at the end of the day a child is dead, she seems to have cared less, and only she knows what happened.

Just because she was found "not guilty" it doesn't mean she is innocent.

I was watching the parents, Cindy smiled.

I'm pretty shocked. Even if you choose to believe the defense's version of events; if you find your child, or anyone's child for that matter, face down in a pool and don't call 911 it's criminally negligent homicide.

Maybe it was the error of the prosecution to not make that an option on the verdict form. Makes more sense than giving them the option of manslaughter. :2 cents:

I'm pretty shocked though. I really felt the prosecution made a strong closing.

Yeah, I watched a little of it but couldn't stand the main prosecutor sucking on his water bottle every 2 seconds... sure that played a part on it.
