Coders/ script gurus is this possible ?
Is it possible to have a script automatically take a percentage of a sale every time a user buys and resells something using paypal or does this have to go through a third party
for example This would require the money to be sent to a middle man, and then the remaining percentage sent to the seller. I buy an item for $5 then resell it for $10.00 but the script takes of $1 and puts it into the account from where i first purchased the item Can this be done automatically by a script cause the coder i am talking to says it cant but has to go through a middle man so to speak |
I was also told this
However when you think about it, taking a percentage off of a sale made directly between two users simply is not possible, Bear in mind this would be using paypal as the processer |
Maybe using the Refund part of the API.

can be done but payments have to be done through the middlemen account, he receives the money and does the final payment.

Very doable, search the PP Dev Network for "chained payments".
