get in here, I wanna show you something!!

Check out my new signature banner... my 13 year old drew that from scratch. She is always blowing my mind with her skills. I draw and paint, but the one thing I can't do for the life of me is eyes!!

And NO, she doesn't come here and won't, and she doesn't work with me. She made this for me, but is in NO way working with or for me. So don't even go there. lol

CYF 07-07-2011 11:02 AM

it's very well done :)

LiquidMatt 07-07-2011 11:03 AM

i like it very much

Harmon 07-07-2011 11:06 AM

Now show her how proud you are. Show her where you hold her artwork sacred, as a mother, and where you feel like a "proud mamma" and the people you feel should see it.

It's an adult webmaster forum, just in case you forgot. Some things are better left unsaid.

That's pretty damn good for someone who is 13,wish I was that talented at that age.although I didn't grow up with computers like they do today

Did you not see where I said she doesn't come here and she does not work with or for me? All of my kids and anyone that knows me knows damn well what I do and I don't hide it from anyone.. least of all my kids. Just because I won't let them come here or be involved in what I do does not in anyway have any impact on a damn thing. I am proud of her here, online and offline, regardless of the places I go or friends I hold that she isn't involved with or around.

MOST people, porn or not, don't take their kids to work with them... duh!! :1orglaugh

There is nothing porn about a set of eyes.. unless I missed something somewhere. lol

Oh I know. I was always heavily into art, of any kind, but there's no way in hell I could do what she does on her computer.... I'm like a 2 yr old when it comes to art on the computer, I can barely make a stick figure on my own. lol

SHE can though, on paper and on the computer. It just comes so natural to her.

And for the record, the only bad part about it is the text, and that is MY talents. lmao

alias 07-07-2011 11:31 AM

Probably shouldn't be pimping out your thirteen year old teenage daughter's "skills" on the internet.

What's next, a teen model site?

EthnicLover 07-07-2011 11:35 AM

Cool. Does she do drawings on paper or only digital?

Oh hell no, none of my kids will ever be a model, not if I have my way about it. This is a set of eyes, not a dick or a set of tits. Or did YOU miss something? lol

On paper as well.. I have her first ever pencil drawing hanging on my wall and she is awesome in all areas of her art. :thumbsup

NaughtyRob 07-07-2011 11:37 AM

Pretty cool. As someone who draws and paints I can tell you that its very hard to get eyes to look even and correct like that.

Oh god, I know. I used to take art classes and I had the best teacher in the world, and some of my art was in exhibits, but if it had eyes on it, I was a complete wreck and all of my eyes looked completely whop-sided. lol

Here is her first ever pencil drawing, which was done about 1 1/2 years or so ago. I took her name out of it. (another bit of my handy work. lmao

Ahh, I see.. makes sense then. My oldest daughter's husband does anime and that sort of thing, and he is who got her into exploring her art and showing her the tools he uses. He was going to school, and I mean no offense here, and she has had zero lessons and she is making him jealous. lol

Some people have a raw talent, and I think she is one of them. But I am her mom, so I would say that. lol

She sells it on IMVU where she hangs out, that's how she keeps and maintains her account and membership there.... so she's learning the basic skills she'll need for the future. :thumbsup

campimp 07-07-2011 04:25 PM

big future for her in art for sure... nurture that as much as possible

scarlettcontent 07-07-2011 04:33 PM

By all means, I do. I don't push her, but I will challenge her sometimes, to show her what she is capable of, but I never push her into anything. But I coddle her talent. I once wanted to be an artist and my dad let me know that was fucked up at every turn, I won't ever do that to her. :thumbsup

spazlabz 07-07-2011 08:05 PM

damn the venom in this thread is surprising. Tam's daughter has talent a lot of us (especially me) are jealous of and Tam is a proud mom. No harm no foul, the image is G rated at worst and perfectly acceptable for her daughter to create and for her to choose to use.

sandman! 07-07-2011 08:13 PM

looks cool......

leming 07-08-2011 12:08 AM

Awesome technique!

GARY LEE 07-08-2011 12:16 AM

You have got to be the same mom who about 6 months ago posted her daughters artwork on this same forum. It was incredible then and it's still awesome now. Go girl! I hope she get's involved with some way to channel her art into a business of some kind. I'd hate to see another very talented starving artist. Develop her marketing skill as well as her art and she will always have the big bux.

pr0 07-08-2011 12:22 AM

Gary's right

you can have all the skill in the world....but without marketing experience, you're f*cked

Aleksandr 07-08-2011 12:23 AM

Nice! Now check out my sig.

SmokeyTheBear 07-08-2011 12:34 AM

jgabra62 07-08-2011 02:29 AM

That is really great stuff! How did she learn to do digital artwork?

Yes, that mom is me. I am extremely proud of her work ethics and her talent, so I brag when I can.

And that is exactly what I am working on with her. She belongs to this place called IMVU and has been for years, and that's what got her started on it. She seen something she wanted and couldn't find anyone to do it for her, so she did it herself. As time went on, she started doing it for other people and she markets herself and sells some of her work, takes orders from other members, puts her work in contests and showcases to get some attention to it. She sells it for points, which cost money to buy otherwise, and they pay her, so she keeps her membership up and gets what she needs doing that. We haven't paid out of pocket in her membership for probably about a year.... she covers it herself with her work. She knows if she wants to keep what she has, she has to work for it and market it.

jgabra62 - you know, I really have no idea. She just picked up on it one day and went with it. She was pretty bad when she first started, but as she worked with it and practiced on it, she started perfecting it. If she needed tools, we got them for her. She needed a tablet, we got her one.. new pc, got that. She is very determined and pushes herself to perfect it.

She has always had a desire to do artwork, always drawing or painting... but it didn't start out well at all, and literally one day, she showed me something and I was blown away... it was like she transformed overnight. She is hungry for the perfection and all involved, that is her biggest talent, past that, she can do anything!

czarina 07-08-2011 07:32 AM

great job, she is definitely very talented
