Program Owners: More Sales With CCBill etc or Merchant Account??
Straight up, let's cut through the billing bullshit once and for all:
PROGRAM OWNERS (not affiliates, thank you): Do you make more sales with CCBill (or any 3rd party processer) or with your own merchant account? Did you once use CCBill (or are still using them now, in a lesser role) and found you made MORE sales or LESS sales (or about the same) when you switched to a merch account. Inquiring minds would like to know. :thumbsup |
You have trade offs either way.
I have a merchant account, but also still use Zombaio and Verotel. I used to use CCB. |

good question.

I don't think your emotionally stable enough for a merchant account.

With CCBill, you're pretty well stuck following their rules and accepting their terms. I'm NOT a program owner - sorry (and I apologize) - but as an affiliate I get more sales using programs that have their own merchant accounts. I don't necessarily consider that a good thing. |

Daaaannngggg!!! |
If you have a merchant account you can pretty well accept any sales, heck you can type the numbers in yourself although that may not be a good idea. So the question is a bit flawed.
The real question is which gives you the most retained revenue for the least trouble. |
