_Richard_ 07-08-2011 10:32 AM

does it rain like that in july often?

Markul 07-08-2011 10:35 AM

No, first time for as long as I can remember. I live about 45 mins north of there and it was raining a little. Very local event it seems.

Also the sewers in our capital are very under dimensioned, thats why there was so much water ik the streets.

I have never denied that there is "climate change". The climate is always changing, and always has been. If humans disappear tomorrow the climate will continue to change. That some people want to pretend that humans are affecting it, is what I don't agree with. At this point there are many scientists that thinks solar flare activity is one of the primary movers of the changes in climate that have happened for millions and millions of years. No one knows, but meanwhile we are letting it be used as an excuse for a huge power grab by governments and a worldwide attempt at wealth redistribution. I can't believe that you really can't see that...

in order to counter this argument i'd need to post a chart that you really can't see.

yes, obviously the sun would have a big impact on our natural enviroment.

no it doesn't mean it's an explanation about why the tempature of the planet suddenly skyrockets inexplicably during a phase where our own population and dated ideas on sustainability skyrocket as well.

wanna talk about rationality? a company that is owned by a guy who is rich enough to impact government policy destorys the enviroment and sustainability of his very business, how much of that profit is really his?

if he's hiding the damage and loss of future income because the land is now useless, isn't that individual and corporation the biggest welfare recipient of all?

Worst thing that happened was that years of cancer research was destroyed by the water (tissue samples or something).
