Got this email from "LiveJasmin"

Dear ""

By this email, I am informing you that the Performer "MayaMiami" has ceased since May, 15th of this year any activity as a video chat perfomer on the website "Livejasmin" (http://www.livejasmin.com/perfinfo.p...mi&psid=xxxsex).

As a result, on the behalf of the performer, I am kindly asking you to remove from public display all the materials (pictures, texts, video clips...) that you have on your website at this URL : http://camgirlsfuck.com/uncategorized/mayamiami/ and picturing this perfomer.

Please, remove the materials in the next hours.
The removal of the materials will be followed closely.

On a sidenote, I recall that any material (video clips, pictures, etc.) extracted from Livejasmin.com and used without the explicit written authorization of LALIB, owner of Livejasmin.com, is a Copyright infringement (See clause. 7.1 of their user's Terms and conditions and also Performers' Registration rules). If the materials were not removed within the very next hours, reporting this issue and your whole website to LALIB, owner of Livejasmin.com (so they can claim their copyright holder's exclusive rights) would be seriously considered.

Regards,

Mr. Thomson.

Check the email headers.

Should be legit

Any site that depends heavily on amateur non-professional content and talent wll respect a performer's wishes if/when she "retires" and may need to protect new contract/career status... even if they signed a model release, etc....

Anyhow it's just lame business to promote content that can't be found on the site.

Also, if you're using any content that's not from the affiliate/webmaster tools section, you're in violation of copyright and affiliate terms of service.

Unless the program/paysite explicitly gives permission (members area access for example) that you can use any site content for promotion, or you ask for and receive permission, then you can't promote the site with anything else.

:D

lol...........

Chosen 07-09-2011 01:33 PM

Links pulled... :pimp

Tjeezers 07-09-2011 01:56 PM

you are the first one who has a email like this
looks like your site has traffic or some sort of something

Sly 07-09-2011 01:59 PM

The last paragraph is third person. Whoever wrote the e-mail is referencing rules that they think exist by LJ and intimating that they will tell LJ if you do not comply with their request within a few hours. I can't see even the craziest of lawyers requesting action within hours.

L-Pink 07-09-2011 02:17 PM

I don't get her emails, just pop-ups.

.

Brent 3dSexCash 07-09-2011 03:09 PM

Mr. Thompson...as in Hunter S. Thompson?

u-Bob 07-09-2011 03:32 PM

looks fake to me.

PornMogul 07-09-2011 04:13 PM

Here come the lawyers to bring yo ass to prisonnnn hahah

adultzone 07-10-2011 01:44 AM

So LiveJasmine.Com does not allow you to promote their tools? LOL That Sucks.

Barry-xlovecam 07-10-2011 09:06 AM

Getting into an Internet War over an image and link that is probably doing you little good if any is a distraction of efforts. Make her new psycho-boyfriend go away ? pull the images and links and ignore any future emails that is how I would handle it.

Side Bar: all images published or broadcast are copyright or the copyright licensed to/of that camsite. If the images or video broadcasts are not licensed to the affiliate of that site the affiliate cannot use them (if challanged.)

it clearly says material that you do not have permission to use..

i.e. non promotional tools.

furthermore the email is clearly not from livejasmin

Many cam sites and porn sites will pull material they are not authorized to use. Most of the time sponsors do not mind this , sometimes they do. In this case a third party is "attempting" to speak for livejasmin.

I see nothing wrong with a lawyer/ex/etc asking politely for the removal of a model. In this case the writer of the email is both asking politely and making inappropriate threats ( timeframe of removal ).

I would speak to livejasmin before i did anything, for all we know this could be a competing model trying to kill her competitor.

seeandsee 07-10-2011 09:10 AM

check email headers and see from where is coming...

nikki99 07-10-2011 09:14 AM

I donīt find that model on LJ

adultchatpay 07-10-2011 07:28 PM

One raging boyfriend. Probably, he is too much surfing porn!

I always get the feeling by your responses that you have no clue what the original post is about.

Abbie 07-10-2011 09:34 PM

I would personally find it hilarious if it was from LJ, since they are the biggest dicks about removing our stolen content on their site(s)...i wouldn't feel one ounce bad for them.

Harmon 07-10-2011 09:41 PM

Oh noes
http://camgirlsfuck.com/uncategorize...VXAlIdUkNS.jpg

marcop 07-10-2011 10:51 PM

Why not tell them you can comply with their request, but it will cost you $X to do so, that you need to be reimbursed for your efforts, and as soon as their payment is received the material will be removed?

GARY LEE 07-10-2011 11:06 PM

Go marcop! Best answer yet. Jealous boyfriend, tell him to go fuck himself.

tucsi 07-11-2011 12:59 AM

Since it has an affiliate id (psid=xxxsex) on the livejasmin link, I don't think it's an official email from livejasmin.

Betty-AWE 07-11-2011 02:14 AM

Hello czarina,

Could you please let me know where you got this email from? I would need the email address to check it out. Thank you.

mopek1 07-11-2011 05:42 AM

It's obviously a fake :)

czarina 07-11-2011 06:19 AM

hi Betty
the email came from [email protected]

PornHustler 07-11-2011 06:28 AM

And they used a yahoo email.....now that's a true lawyer for you.

JamesGw 07-11-2011 07:23 AM

You should mess with him.

BlackCrayon 07-11-2011 07:26 AM

send an email in the exact same form except instead of him asking to remove images, ask him to remove her from his life because cam girls are inherently fucked.

Totally. Yahoo is by far the most legit of e-mail hosts.

Hello Czarina,

The email is not from LiveJasmin.com of course. We will investigate the matter and thank you for drawing our attention to this.

MrMaxwell 07-11-2011 08:36 AM

"very next hours"

I think a ten year old would laugh at that part

LoL

What a buffoon

Hermes 07-11-2011 10:04 AM

Um stop calling it "fake" etc, I really don't think the person who sent the email is trying to make it look like it comes from LiveJasmin (would be really poor attempt in that). In no part of message he claims such, he uses word "I" and even mentions about reporting the issue to LJ. He did put a name at the end but i agree it could've been more clear who he's representing.

Besides the girl in question has been removed from LiveJasmin already so your links there don't work.

Babaganoosh 07-11-2011 10:08 AM

That is one HUGE header on that site. On my work monitor the content doesn't start until about halfway down the page. Doesn't that violate one of the first rules for designing a site for conversions?

djroof 07-11-2011 10:53 AM

not here........

:2 cents:

As if the email would even be read in the very next hours by most people.
