Battlefield 3 vs Modern Warfare 3
 

Looks like the epic FPS battle of the fall is heating up.

Yea you can't compare those, BF3 will own it.

BFBC2 already owned MW2.

I had the feeling that MW2 was meant for kids and casual gamers that didn't want a strategy element to online play. You have to use your brain in BFBC2.

Yes BattleField will dominate. COD is not even a very good game, bad movement and game play compared to Halo.

BF3 will be AWESOME! I can't wait... been playing battlefield series since BF 1942 when it was released in 2002...

compared to halo or not.... BF3 will own it in every way... just sayin...

bf3 will be about graphics and be hindered in movement. slower pace.

mw3 will be quicker slightly less graphics but barely noticeable. faster pace.

in the end. mw3 will sustain longer. bf3 is making a mistake by releasing same time. They should release in august and get a good solid 3 or 4 month run compared to the lesser 1.5-2 month run it will get along side mw3...

Its not about slow paced, its called strategy... BF games have strategy, MW3 is closer to unreal tournament, basically spawn, run guns blazing, die, spawn to repeat process.

what you meant to say is... bf 3 is strategy only and cod is both. Depends on where and who you play with.

in the end, imo, cod is a far better game. For instance. mw2 imo could be the best multiplayer game ever. It would be if IW/activision would support its needs.

its faults come from abuse and community standards.

bf has its flaws in mechanics.

dont get me wrong though. they are both FAR better than black ops. black ops is a piece of garbage!

only point id make on that is. Slow paced fps gaming sucks. strategy or not. I put in a good portion of strategy and run n gun in all my gaming. I get by just fine.

will i hate bf3, no. will i enjoy mw3 more, i believe so. do i hate blops, yes!

MW3 is practically the same as MW2, I haven't really seen any big changes in the game. Hope I'm wrong because I'm a cod fan. Only thing I'm looking forward to is playing the London map :)

BF3 looks like its going to be good, I've pre-ordered both games. If you really wanna compare them then buy them both.

Its realistic vs unrealistic... mw3 obviously going for the unrealistic (like halo)... and bf obviously more realistic...(think actual war)

im glad mw3 is going to have the same mechanics as mw2, they kicked up the graphics a notch and added a twist to muliplayer gaming. not wuite wow but i hear theres a mmorpg'esque twist being thrown in.

they are taking the good and leaving the bad. i like that.

no game is like actual war. If by being more clunky and movement impaired, then sure.

but who wants to play like that when youre at home in front of your big screen.

The Modern Warfare series has turned into a James Bond movie. It's actually more ridiculous than a Bond movie.

I'm thinking that each of these two new games will produce more money than the last two or even the next two Bond flicks. :2 cents:
