Paxum Update: EURO & CAD Currency Accounts Added!

We would like to express our thanks to our valued customers for their patience while we completed our upgrades yesterday.

We are thrilled to announce that our new implementations; EURO and CANADIAN currency checking accounts, are now LIVE and can be added to your Paxum account with ease.

To ADD one (or both) currency accounts to your Paxum account, simply follow the easy instructions below:
  1. Login to your Paxum account control panel
  2. Scroll down the Overview page (main landing page) until you see your Checking/Mastercard accounts.
  3. Click the Add Currency hyperlink located in that section
  4. Select the Currency you wish to enable (CAD or EUR) for your Paxum account
  5. Click 'Create Account'
  6. Repeat Steps 3-5 to add both currencies if desired.
  7. That's it! You are DONE!

Please Note: Adding new currency checking accounts to your Paxum Control Panel costs you NOTHING. There are no setup fees and no monthly maintenance fees for this additional feature.

Once you have your EURO and Canadian currency checking accounts in place you can Add/Withdraw funds directly to/from those accounts if you choose!

Paxum clients can also now send P2P transfers in Euro and Canadian,
as well as USD, to any other Paxum client!
All P2P transfers are INSTANT, no matter which currency you choose to send.

As always, with a new feature we are keen to hear your feedback and suggestions. Please let us know what you think so we can ensure we're providing you with the best service possible!

nice!

btw: does that mean Paxum is now also using a bank inside the EU?

There is no EU wire withdrawtal at Paxum? (I'm not an user yet)

Adraco 07-15-2011 09:40 AM

Wouldn't it be nice / fair to have a pricelist in Euro and in CAD?

So if I want to transfer in Euro, I would pay €0.25
Yes, the currency exchange rate will fluctuate, but with fixed prices in the same currency as you are transferring, you can easily see and workout the costs and no need to exchange back and forth

We are looking into adding a EU bank, but for now we are doing EURO currency through one of our other banks.

EURO Wire withdrawal IS AVAILABLE Klen!! Just go through the regular Wire Withdrawal options and you'll see it as an option to withdraw from your EU checking account.

Well, for the transaction fees we are simply doing a conversion rather than charging more. ie: $0.25 is not equal to €0.25, so it would be unfair for us to charge our EU currency account clients more for the same transaction.

The feature is currently being worked on, but when Paxum clients transfer funds between their accounts (USD -> CAD, for example), the client will be able to see ahead of time exactly the conversion rate they will experience with the transfer. As I said, this will be available shortly.

Actually, considering a fair portion of our clients are located in Europe, it makes perfect sense for us to address their needs by adding a EURO currency account option.

We are constantly growing and improving our service, and our customers certainly seem happy with the results. :2 cents:

Tempest 07-15-2011 01:39 PM

Can someone explain to me what the benefits are for this? i.e. I'm Canadian and receive all my payouts as USD... So what would be the value of me having the Canadian currency account?

Great! cuz sending money in Euro from a bank in a country withing the SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) zone will save both Paxum and its users a lot of money.

(banks don't charge wire fees for wire transfers in Euro within the SEPA zone)

That's awesome. I'm sure we'll speed up our efforts to get one based on that! :thumbsup

Some customers prefer to deal with payments in their own currency. We are simply enabling our customers to have greater choice and flexibility when it comes to accessing their funds with this addition. :)

It would be useful if you selling something and buyer is from same country.
