Rebekah Brooks arrested by hacking police
No matter how rich you are or where u are u cant hide from the law .....
Ex-News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks has been arrested by police investigating phone hacking and bribery at the News of the World. The 43-year-old was arrested by appointment at a London police station and remains in custody. She was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to intercept communications and on suspicion of corruption allegations. She quit News International on Friday as pressure mounted over her role. Mrs Brooks was editor of the paper between 2000 and 2003, during which time the phone belonging to murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler was tampered with. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14178051 |

It's been a tough few months for her, she is an honest person and nobody should assume her guilt until this inquiry had uncovered all the facts. Unfortunately at the moment she is a very visible and easy to blame person for the media. |
hacking police. is that like the cyber polieeece?
|
The head of the hacking police resigned earlier too :)
|
why not arrest the head? i vote rupert for jail!

She lied about studying at Sorbonne and its not the first time she has been arrested. |

society will be a better place with them locked up and shut down. |
Look at the bigger picture, She was due to appear to give evidence in front of the parliament at the culture media and sport select committee on Tuesday.
Now she has been arrested she will not have to give evidence to the committee. very convenient for the police. The evidence they are using to arrest her has been in police hands since 2006 yet the decide to arrest her two days before the committee. CMON THEY'RE ALL FUCKING CROOKS. |

As a secretary with ZERO journalism training she must have sucked a lot of wrinkled old rupert dick to get the gig. I hope she and her cohorts spend a lot of time in jail as a warning and an end to murdoch style journalism, in and of it self a plague on the world.
This is KARMA coming back to destroy a shit man's career at the end of his life. I hope murdoch is finished pandering his bs around the world. |

She could just flee to Israel and not have any chance of being extradited. That happens often but of course the media keeps it fairly quiet:thumbsup

What is hilarious about this entire "scandal" is that Murdoch and his cronies have been involved in things exponentially more sinister than phone hacking. This is phone hacking scandal is just a distraction and is the equivalent of a parking ticket.

why that is i dunno. i think people's minds shut off when they contemplate the true nature of crimes perpetrated, they can only rally around something less threatening. it's a weird phenomenon. |
He true crime was for the last few decades poisoning political life, promoting war, racism, xenophobia and attacks on Trade Unions and any democratic bodies. Getting the stupid to elect right wing governments.
Like getting Al Capone on tax evasion, any thing that stops Murdoch is OK. |
