When using the laptop at home I just hdmi It to my desktop's 27" screen. That thing looks clumsy.

the idea is there, just give it a couple more generations, it will be cheaper lighter, and better quality just like everything else.

You're going to be paying a premium on that for at least a couple years before it drops in price. Not even worth it at this point.

They really need to work on its design. I wait for the second or third generation.

I'll wager you that it will flop and not a single other manufacturer will be interested in the form factor.

A bit unnecessary if you ask me. If you are working at home use an external monitor. When away your laptop screen is enough.
