Whew ... went golfing today ...

Went golfing today and most days my golfing partner and I do 36 holes a day ... just had to quit at the end of 27 holes (38/39/46) as was shooting worse each nine holes. Temp was 105.2F when we finished with HHH (humungous heavy humidity) and could hardly breath on the last hole.

I like warm weather ... but, this is terrible :mad: :mad: :mad:

Did shoot 3 birds and an Eagle early and then as the weather temp/HHH increased started shooting worse. If we could have shot the last 9 score would probably been in the 50's to my best guess ... and that's torture in golf when you have a 41 average for 9 holes.

Hope it cools off in the morning. Got a 7am tee time with my partner and 2 foxy gals that shoot very good ... one is a scratch golfer most of the time ... other is about my average. Both gals are really choice looking, good personalities and fun to be with. Gonna try to get some pictures of them golfing. Sorry, no nudies although we have never asked them. :winkwink:

We been shooting 36 holes a day for about 4 years now at our dual course golf club. About 2-3 times a year we WILL do 54 when the temp is around 75F, light breeze and choice for golfing.

I'm 74 and my golfing partner is 70 years old too ... we need the excersize to keep our hearts pumping. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

brutal.....

on a side note....girls golfing is about the sexiest thing on the planet

When we play as a 2-some and not held up by anyone we can finish 36 holes in around 4.5 hours ... only takes longer when we have a slow 4-some that won't let us play through and they each take 5 practice swings, and then ALL mark and align their ball on the green before putting.

We don't let any grass grow under our feet if no one is in the way.

golf is a spring/autumn game

i save time with my methods.. i just hit 100 strokes on the first nine. Strokes per hole ratio is very cost effective ;)


Seriously though, that is pretty damn impressive, I am less than half your age and can't spend that much time on a golf course, no less in this heat!

He's 74 so cut him some slack. Although after he said he'd played lots of blackjack over the years and never had a losing session, I take everything he says with a grain of salt cause I know that's bs.
