No sales?

no sales during days and suddently for a given day, several sales with sponsors for which i send 1-10 hits per day (and no sale with the sponsors that i promote more and that are used to convert)

Same here...I figured it's either my hosting or them. I go hours I'll get 5-10 sign ups an hour then 6 hours straight i do not get a single sign up...they will always say nothing is wrong tho.

First I want to say I am happy with my CCBill sales, not complaining, but being a stats man I do notice sales seem to arrive in batches. I figured it was either that 1 surfer comes in, loves the site then goes around buying everything, or that the sales have been sitting waiting for approval somewhere in the system. Come to think of it actually, often when those CCBill sales come in I also see lots of sales in other systems too, so I suspect it's the surfers, at least in my case.

Recently I have been seeing more sales from obscure sponsors coming through, which I'm rather pleased about, but I do get most of my sales from around 5 sponsors

Just a possibility. Not saying either case is the problem, as of course I've noticed it and I'm sure everyone has. But I've not only noticed it with CCBill, I've noticed it with other billers too - I'm more so talking about certain hours of the day that seem to yield more sales than others. Same way certain hours of the day yield more traffic hits than others...

Thing is, people that 'pay' for subscriptions are becoming a smaller demographic. Even if there's more of them overall due to more people being on the internet, the 'type' of person that buys subscriptions has shrunk in characteristics due to the ease of pirating/tubesites/etc. Paysite customers will likely form more patterns now than ever before due to being more alike eachother than a couple years ago. I have suddently nearly no more recurring sale... while i have more visitors.
I fact while i should have a peak of sale, i have no recurring sale at all.
The month was fine until before the middle of july...

I'm not complaining or claiming that i have sales, i'm just wondering why this happens.
If you need to check the sales, it could be an explanation if you are in vacation.
(or of the weather is too hot, i don't know...).
I'm just sure that's pretty unsual.
My customers are perhaps full of malwares and i'm prehaps a target ?

Yeah I know.. i've been lurking and posting here under various names since 2004, i've seen this type of thread come up so many times that if I was to get a buck for every time someone complained about ratios on GFY, i'd fucking retire right now.

Bucket your traffic and put 1/2 to CCBill and the other 1/2 to another provider and see what is going on.

Yes, yes it is dude - like why I'm suddenly going hours upon hours without a sale when just this week, if an hour went by without multiple sales it would be odd. Huh.

My main sponsors are CCBILL sites that I am pushing since more than 5 years and I had a steady income with them till june 2011. Since July 2011 I see a dramatical drop in sales. I had bad periods before (12 days with low sales in May 2010 and there were more periods of 2-3 days with low sales) but what I see now since the start of July 2011 is a cut of over 50% in sales and I do not see anything good right now. It's almost impossible to have the same income of last year with these sales.
Saturday + Sunday are good days for me but over the last weekend (weekend of August 20-21) I only get 4 new sales and that is really bad!

I asked my main sponsor if he saw the same in his global sales and he does. He also told me there are almost NO sales from U.S.A. customers in July - August 2011 but about 80% is from Germany.

I am also sending small amounts of traffic to NATS sites and also with them I see a drop in sales. Due to the fact that I am only sending small amounts of traffic to these latter ones it is very difficult to compare. But I see my ratios are bad too.


I hope the next 4 months will be super to save a bit my year!

We are having the same problems. July was pretty good. Now we get maybe 2 a day. Go hours without a sign up. ~CCBill~ Failed rebills are at an all time high as well.

ccbill is a fucking joke...Ive been moving away from all ccbill sponsors...

CCbill seems to be largest Adult processor yet they have the most ancient system of them all as well as the same complaints over and over again. :Oh crap

We have been with them since Lancelot went under. Its probably just people using pre-paid debit cards and when they try to rebill, there is nothing left on the card. Just helps if I can bitch once in a while!

Ha, Sypro... Yes, dealt with them as well. Stiffed me a few thousand bucks. I have been running pantyfreek.com since 1996 and have seen a lot of trends come and go. The only problem I am really bitching about with CCBill are the FAILED REBILLS. The company itself (Cavecreek, Ecsuite) has gone above and beyond for my business. Whenever I call, a real person answers the phone. The economy is the major blame for sluggish sales and the mass amounts of stolen free stuff.

i continue to be convinced that some people have figured out a way to game the affiliate system.

programs report consistant 1 in 500 1 in 600 1 in 700 sales, yet most affiliate are showing 1 in thousands if not 1 in ten thousands levels of conversions. the numbers dont add up, because it would take a whole pile of super productive traffic or an incredible near 1:1 sales ratio to make up for the poor performing affiliates.

not easy to figure out, and it would require some serious forensic accounting to figure out if there is anything going on.
