Straight Outta Compton is one of my all time favorite rap albums. I listen to some of the new stuff here and there but overall, the lyrics don't hold a candle to the stories that were told in the old school hip hop days. :2 cents:

i grew up on this shit. i remember when these dudes were broke doing concerts at the parks. one year a long way back too short did a free concert over in tempe at Kiwanis Park that was a surprise 4 sure.

that's too far back :1orglaugh i took my sugar hill gang to school to share. teacher was pretty kool all the kids brought albums and we got to play one song.
