"f you spent $1 million a day since Jesus was born, you would have not spent $1 trillion by now...but ~$700 billion- same amount the banks got during bailout."

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:thumbsup

pornguy 07-27-2011 05:52 AM

Interesting.. Hope he kept the graphic in psd because he is going to have to add to it in a few months.

DaddyHalbucks 07-27-2011 05:59 AM

Sure our country is broke.

But look on the bright side of 50 years of government social programs on 'roids: alot of scumbags got SUVs, wide screen TVs, and XBOX 360s. Some were lucky enough to upgrade to Cadillac Escalades.

And, a ton of mediocre people and political cronies got government jobs. It's alot of work writing 80 million checks a month.

Juicy D. Links 07-27-2011 06:07 AM

Why doesnt the guy in the pic nextt to the money have a penis???

MaDalton 07-27-2011 06:18 AM

thats only cause your biggest note is only $100 - print $1000 notes and your debt will be 90% smaller ;))

SZNY 07-27-2011 07:48 AM

its kind of freaky to see this visualization, have to say its nicely done!

ajrocks 07-27-2011 07:59 AM

LMAO you guys are screwed down there.

heek 07-27-2011 08:03 AM

6 Month old news, but still pretty fucking crazy to see this.

The visualization I seen 6 months ago was smaller though!

That's the problem. For maybe 50, definitely 40 years, America has lived well beyond it's means. People were buying things they couldn't afford. CC debt was rocketing and the Government was no different.

Now America is on a life support of loans. Take the loans away and the patient dies. Solution?

My feeling is it will take 40-50 years if they start today.

96ukssob 07-27-2011 08:35 AM

pretty fucking crazy :helpme

dyna mo 07-27-2011 08:38 AM

also, i'd suggest studying up on how companies about to go public handle their *roadshow*

you can glean a lot of good practices from seeing how the pros do it. i did 1 roadshow, played a backseat as i was director of one of the key points, so i just had to give my presentation, but i learned a lot watching the main guys play it up and create interest and excitement.

SZNY 07-27-2011 08:54 AM

Problem is that the world economy depends on what's happening in the US, so in a way we will also feel it

bronco67 07-27-2011 09:23 AM

Ok, when you see that last picture, it makes you realize that we are fucked. Or we can just go bankrupt, then become part of Canada.

fail to see how this relates to the US debt visualization.

please keep on topic. :2 cents:

Rochard 07-27-2011 09:49 AM

We need to cut back on everything. Welfare should last two years, and that's it. After that you never qualify for it again. We are raising entire families on welfare and that's wrong. Our military too, we need to cut back. We spent more than any other nation on our military, and while we can strike out at anyone across the world instantly we don't really have any military threats to the US.

We also need to install a flat tax. Everyone gets away with murder on their taxes.

Agent 488 07-27-2011 09:54 AM

you should make life miserable for single mothers and welfare bums ...

If anything, our military should be more streamlined, to be a nailgun, instead of a sledgehammer. A nailgun is more expensive -- bad example, but I'm trying to say the giant brute force military is not needed for our current threats.

First and foremost, China does not report their spending and used slave labor as many on this list do so this as having any validation at all is senseless. Japan doesn't have a military. I agree we do spend too much but we also should spend the most. We are the 3rd largest country population wise and the second largest land wise. We also have the dubious honor of saving the world at our expense while also doling out billions to countries that hate us.

On that point, has anyone ever mentioned how much we spend each year on foreign aid? Like the aids drug fiasco Bush created in Africa that Obama doesn't have the balls to stop.

Rochard is right as he usually is, we need to cut back on everything, not just the programs YOU don't like. Get ready kiddies, we are all about to take a bath together. Keep your soap on a rope!

JamesGw 07-27-2011 10:55 AM

That's a lot of money.

It's less than 0.01% of what you guys spend on military.

The US needs to adjust for 10 years, and create a new industry or tech in the meantime and all will be fine.

When someone said "Largest theft of wealth in the history of mankind" what was so difficult to understand? The masses are so god damned fucking stupid they don't know a million from a billion from "um like a gazillion" anyway. Fuck it.
