Bitcoin exchanges use Paxum now.
I know some of you can care less about bitcoin and some of you are interested. Just thought I'd tell you that Mt. Gox (biggest exchange) and Tradehill.com (2nd biggest) have both started using Paxum after Dwolla (a payment service that promised no reversals) reversed some of tradehill's deposits without even telling them. Got em for 35 k (or something) and wont even return e-mails or calls.
Also the guys from Bit-pay were on the Bitcoin Show the other day and demonstrate how to use their payment system. Pretty cool stuff. Only for US merchants right now till they get everything running right. https://youtube.com/watch?v=UZAnM4FjTOg Just spreading some news not really in the mood to argue about if Bitcoin is money or not. Thanks. :pimp |
I still dont get the whole bitcoin thing.
essentially, you run a program on your computer which allows other computers to proxy your address to sent out spam and download movies from the interwebs? or is that just a rumor? |

The bitcoin clients are going through the same exact screening process as everyone else had to do. As long as they play by the rules and what they are doing is legal we can provide them accounts.
Just like anyone else - if they break the rules they will be banned. No exceptions. |
