Are sales up or down using Zombaio's new form?

Zombaio now has a new flow and the user has to click about 5 times to get through the order form. My question is are your sales up or down with this new order form?

fuzebox 07-30-2011 09:50 AM

I was shocked to see the change yesterday. I don't use them, but I would assume that sales have dropped with that form. They have to.

marktruman 07-30-2011 11:17 AM

reminds me when verotel changed to ticketsclub, sales dropped drastically

CurrentlySober 07-30-2011 11:25 AM

I am afraid of zombies. (and I also question the idea of billing the undead)

Therefore I choose not to make ZOMBIE payments...

Love Sex 07-30-2011 12:21 PM

babymaker 07-30-2011 02:16 PM

Dear frustrated merchants,

If any of you are processing more than $5k per month (if you are located in the US or $15k offshore) and have been in business more than 6 months, we are happy to offer you a processing solution that will increase sales, allow you to host your own forms or customize our hosted forms, and give you control over your processing as well as the fraud scrubbing. We have been providing processing services for merchants since 1998.

Please post here, email ICQ or call our sales department if you are interested in learning more.

Thanks, Mitch

Mitch

Anyone know why they did this? Was there a notice sent out?

After months of testing and massive drug taking, the powers that be decided to fuck up their join ratios by adding five layers. This makes perfect sense in Copenhagen.

This will be my only post in this thead since I am out traveling with very bad 3G cover.

The new join forms are implemented by request from many merchants. Those allow the customers to choose pricing AND from several upcoming payment methods. the whole idea with the join forms is to increase the revenue. We are currently monitoring the join forms and the user behaviour on the forms to see how they do. And you can rest assured that if this does not increase revenues, we will change them or switch back, that is a promise. There is no winning for us at all to have join forms with lower throughput, I hope you understand that.

What we see now is once the customer has entered the cc number, they are not aborting in further steps. The aborts often come at step 1 where they have to choose billing option.

If you have any good improvement ideas on the forms, please let us know. Send me an email.

Mitch,
Curious, why is 15k for offshore companies but only 5k for US based?

:2 cents: Should have made this an optional form for merchants instead of a request from some, dictating the forms for everyone.

The jury is out of course, but common sense would say the more clicks someone has to make the larger the chance for errors and someone backing out.

With respect please consider switching forms back....I personally don't know any clients that would make this request as I never would have been one to want to change the forms... Verotel as a processor has always been the least reliable to convert for me, and now that my zombaio forms resemble the verotel forms it could explain why I have had no new sign up with zombaio since july 16th almost 2 weeks

Verotel ticketsclub forms are far better, they have improved alot.
the first page secure form has subscription type, payment type and card info input.
They do CC,US checks,Direct Debit Europe,1-900 billing US and Europe.
The step up Verotel Classic has no set up fees and the processing fees are competitive.
They pay like clockwork and their techs will set you up pretty quickly.

on edit-
this is an example of what the Verotel Ticketsclub form looks like-

Hi,

Good question. The banks that we work with in the US to setup merchant accounts have lower volume minimums to setup a merchant account.

Thanks, Mitch

ShowMe69 08-02-2011 05:41 AM

the forms suck, heck if you are going to be Verotel, I should just use my Verotel merchant account

Dirty D 08-02-2011 02:08 PM

Wow this is a mess.... moving Zombaio to the end of the cascades till someone has some answers.

I have no idea how this "Hide Price" option works.

By default all pricing options are shown.
This is bad because we have already presented a price and the surfer has accepted a price.

If I hide the prices, the join form doesn't work.

What a huge mess. Please explain these new join forms to everyone, because they suck ass!

Zombaio gets the award for most frequent biller screwups. We are still reeling from the rebill problems last month.

Please bring back the old forms immediately!

Maybe we will consider sending new transactions when you guys quit doing things that cost us money. The rebill fiasco was inexcusable and now this...

Does it make sense for the surfer to select a price then you guys present a selection of prices again?

The NEW join page is straight up retard logic. :error

Internet User 08-02-2011 02:22 PM

zombaio better get their shit straight

Dirty D 08-03-2011 09:22 AM

Removed from the cascade until this join form problem is fixed.

xxxman2 08-08-2011 10:20 AM

the new form of zombaio realy sucks, sales dropped, I need old form!!!

Genie 08-09-2011 05:30 AM

Z says: "Two weeks ago we updated our join forms. During this period we have monitored the join forms closely and see about the same join ratios as the old forms. However the new join forms will probably have better ratios when the new payment options are introduced the coming months.

However, some of the clients experience that the old form had a better join ratio. For that we have now enabled an option in ZOA, so that you can choose if you want to use the e-ticket form (new) or the old simple credit card form (old)."
