AVN Vegas in January?
 

Will there be an Internet show from AVN in January?

I would like to know as well.

I see the AVN Show and AVN Awards, but there is no mention of the Internet portion of the show.

We were told on the 28th of last month that the dates for Internext would be announced in two weeks.

it will be interesting to see how the dates work with the XBiz LA show in January

Yeah but so was the consumer show and awards. AVN pushed back the consumer and award side to later in the month and now XBiz is the 8-10th in LA.

As much as I hated the early shows, this is worse as it falls over my wifes birthday. So I'm out. If they are having it at all.

avn blinked. show will probably just be rolled into the industry part of the video / consumer show.

This doesn't mention the Internet show.

Xbiz is putting a lot of pressure on AVN by scheduling their new retail show in early January.

I'm still looking forward to attending The Vegas show, and hope it is around the same time as Affiliate Summit West on Jan 8-10, which is being held at Caesars Palace.

InterNEXT Expo will take place in January 15-17, 2012 in Vegas.


AVN is taking over the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. New website and announcement with details is coming on Monday. Activities include: Meet Market, GFY party, CEO Dinner, Traffic Dinner, Seminars, Speed Networking, Workshops & a Keynote.

Like I offered before, I do have some yard work needed if you are found stuck in LA between the XBIZ show and InterNext. We will even throw in a bag lunch. :anon

Ive LOVED attending these shows for the past 6 years, but last year was it for me. A lot of people I know are out of the biz or dont bother attending anymore and the only reason why I would consider is to be apart of D$'s Players Ball :winkwink:

I always look forward to Vegas in January.

So nothing is at the Venetian anymore? Hard Rock for Internext and then moving to the Palms for AVN? Seems like it use to be where we started at The Venetian for AVN and then moved to The Palms for Internext..

I haven't missed the January porn conventions in Las Vegas since 1992 when the AVN Expo was a curtained off section of CES. I'll probably be there no matter what the format as long as this is my business. Even though the smokiness of the Palms makes me sick every year.

Yeah kind of tough.. I always liked the parties after the AVN awards show! Fun! That overlap with internext and AVN awards was nice.

Also last year I liked overlapping with Affialate summit. It was like hitting up and catching a little of several shows..

I hope internext alone will be enough of a draw for people to come. Will have to see all thats going on, who is coming and all that im invited to before I can decide to come..

I havent missed one in over 10 years. But every year I get closer and closer to missing one. Always last minute something comes up that I just cant miss and I end up going.
