What's up with .co domains? I see many registrars listing this TLD above the traditional .COM.

Do the registrars just try to trick people into accidentally registering a .CO instead of a .COM?
Or is .CO really popular at the moment? I have my doubts about that...

Pretty popular actually, but amongst the noobs though. I'd use it only as an additional domain for my main domain, as a lot of people tend to hit enter before they write "m", hence it would bring a little extra traffic.

com and net are still the best two TLD's.

Do a search for any keyword and tell me how many .co domains you see ranking. That should answer your question.

Blame the alphabetical order ;)
