Sly 08-08-2011 10:59 AM

Just like spiders, kind of cool. Never dawned on me that they might do the same.

BruceM 08-08-2011 11:14 AM

Awww, how cute

Redrob 08-08-2011 11:28 AM

I wonder what they eat at that age?

Does Mama feed them like a mother penguin?

Or, do they swarm a roach en mass?

Quentin 08-08-2011 11:33 AM

Good news for those of you with small children, should one 'em get stung by one of the nastier varieties of scorpion: a new scorpion anti-venom has just been approved by the FDA.

It's rare, but scorpion stings do occasionally kill people, usually very small children, or elderly folks with compromised immune systems.

PR_Glen 08-08-2011 11:48 AM

Luckily none of us here have been stung. We did find 3 of them in our house recently, they were crawling down from our light fixtures.. I bought some industrial grade spray and coated our house.

Jayvis 08-08-2011 05:54 PM

Damn nature you scary

scuba steve 08-08-2011 08:59 PM

back home in dallas, we had a scorpion nest in our attic, the lil fuckers were either scary purple/black or clear. the clear ones were the worst cause they were usually the young quick ones, and you couldn't really see them.

check your shoes, thats the most common hiding spot

Jon Oso 08-09-2011 01:36 AM

I've seen two scorpions in the last 6 years. One was already dead in my garage, the other was floating face down in my toilet.

The house I just bought had a bunch of spiders (I counted 17 in the first two days) but since the exterminator came by I haven't seen any. I asked and he said scorpions are pretty rare in this part of the city... and thank god for that. Those things are fucking evil.

John-ACWM 08-09-2011 10:22 AM

Pics are really cool, ugly mf!
