I've always enjoyed Sinead's music...

Her looks were always less important to me - in fact, she first shaved her head bald as a statement against the traditional views of women, so her current look does not totally surprise me.

She was gorgeous, but she is not well and hasn't been for a long time. She hasn't looked like old Sinead in a long time either.

If anyone's familiar with Daniel Johnston there's a really good documentary floating around out there about him. Really shows the changes someone takes on physically as a side effect of strong antipsychotics. It's not like she just let herself go, that shit turns you into a vegetable.

Getting old is one thing, letting yourself go is another story. Then again, this was to be expected. It's not like she's ever been the kind of performer that put any effort on making herself look "hot". It just so happened that she had a pretty face and was thin but now that pretty face is hidden behind the blubber.
