Vegas Pro 10 - Heeeeeelp me!!!!!!

So I did the upgrade and now I am faced with the following problems:

1) My old .veg files will not open in Vegas 10. :helpme

2) I used to be able to open a .veg within a .veg but you can not do that with the new .vf files. I used this for moving watermarks so I didn't have to keyframe them on every scene, then just lay the .veg right over the scene.

Anyone know a work around for either? Google is not helping me right now.

This is a common issue known to only happen with the pirated version of Vegas 10.

That's not the same thing. I did find something on Google and Vegas Pro *should* allow me to bring in a .vf file into the current time line (they call it nesting), but they say some versions are buggy. Gonna try a reinstall or update patch and see if it fixes that problem.

As far as .veg files, looks like I'm ass out.

I tried looking it up for you. Someone had a similar problem but with 9. They were using the 9 trial and when they bought the full version, they couldn't open .veg files.

After reading through the forum post, here is what he said.

Wow, thank you SO much for getting back to me, regardless; that was just awesome of you!

Yes, I had gotten help through a MOD on this site by, I think, just uninstalling and reinstalling the program (and going into the registry to clean it up of Vegas files) and then everything worked just fine.

But I do hope your response does help someone else! Thank you again!

google the following:
vegas 10 pro won't open .veg files

look for the creative cow link, was first one for me.

Good luck.
