Newbie Question: When is a good time to sell links and/or ad space?
 

Hello,

I'm new to the site and have a new site that is getting about 250 hits a day currently. It's growing fairly quick so wondering what is a good time to sell link ads on the site? I'm currently using affiliates but wondering is there a place for those that need SEO style anchor text links. Trying to monetize as soon as possible but I know the site doesn't have a good PR yet. I do foresee it growing pretty quickly but wondering at what point to a reach out? Any information would be greatly appreciated...I'm relatively new to the adult game on my own (have done SEO consulting for big adult clients but they had a following I just helped augment it). :-)

Give your sites a little bit more age before you start selling links, I would get your pagerank up to at least a 1 because PR1+ is what people will pay for.

If you plan on using pop-ups I wouldn't use them until your site starts getting some good consistent traffic. Be patient, your sites can only grow and get better in time.

Juicy ads is a PPC model? I'm pretty interested in that as well given I'm getting decent traffic right now...just don't know if there's a catch. Thanks for the info!
