hey shooters, inside:
you ever have a model so.. well... unsuited for photography that you had to stop the shoot? pulling the plug on my second shoot this year with so afflicted model... whoa!!
|
If you mean that they showed up high as a kite and/or looking like a mess, that has only happened to me once maybe in the last several years. I have had a few models with a bad attitude who didn't want to do the work required or time required to complete the shoot that I had to send home or who melted down not long after we got started and stormed out on their own.

This thread is useless without pix!!!

Yes. Uncooperative, or high etc. It happens.

Definitely! I'm not sure if that's better or worse than the models that don't even show up at all.

we once had a mature model that only stopped shaking and being uncooperative AFTER we gave her some vodka (on her request)

I haven't had to boot a model from set yet... Although I did have one girl pass out cold from an orgasm.
Had no idea what was happening until the vibrator slid out of her pussy and landed with a "thud" on the couch. Luckily her female friend that I had also shot was in the next room so I could just go get her to wake her up. Thought it would be a bit creepy having a guy she'd met barely a couple hours before shaking her awake while butt ass naked with a vibrator still going between her legs haha. |
yeah, but it was the male talent, chick was cool but it was a girlfriend- boyfriend combo...

Happened all the time.
Our situation was very different to most here. We had to submit the set after it was shot and paid for and get a yes or no from an editor. Who then had to decide if he would use it and then we were paid on publication. I always tried to do a casting prior to shooting girls, shoot some readers wives shots and some classic poses to see if the girl was any good. Then and only then did I think about booking her. If on the shoot she wasn't up to the work, she went home. A solo girl shoot could cost from $600 to $1000 a day. So if it wasn't going to sell, we didn't waste our time and money. For those who could compete in the market we worked in, it was great. Kept out so many wannabes. |
