I watched the entire interview and quite frankly, Piers just wouldn't leave it alone going on and on about sex stuff.. It was clear she was getting uncomfortable with the topics but he just kept going on and on like a dog with a bone... Walking out on an interview is stupid but I really felt that in this instance he was unprofessional.

Hearing someone walk off an interview on CNN, I would have thought "what a moron", but honestly I agree with you. I don't like her, but he was being kind of a dick. If the person you're interviewing didn't want to talk about something in particular and are clearly showing it (and it's one of many many things that could be talked about), you move on out of respect. I agree with her that perhaps if she was a candidate running for something it'd make sense, but in a case like this? Was just really weird.

I can't say i agree to that. She clearly went on there to try to promote her book, and when that didn't go as planned she got defensive. They can talk a bit about the book, but not for an hour and not exclusively about that. It's an interview, not a book commercial.

He was basically trying to hit on the most controversial bits from the book and stuff she's said in the past, which I guess is for ratings so I can't blame him for trying, but still, if it's clear she doesn't want to give him the satisfaction, why press it and press it and press it? Especially when he could tell he was pressing her buttons. Regardless of whether she walked off or not, it'd be the quickest way to never get another interview with her again.

They basically had two different agendas at play. Her's was to get on and try to promote her book as much as possible. His was to get higher ratings and have some drama on his show. To be honest though, in my eyes he came off as a nice guy and she came off as hiding something. "I won't tell you anything, it's all in the book buy the book".

The keyword here is that it was an interview, not a book commercial despite what she may have thought...

Guests walk off when the host fails to connect with the guest. I watched the entire interview and Piers Morgan behaved like a prick. His voice kept squealing like he's a teenage girl.

O'Donell was being difficult and evasive. People are like that. So, it takes a good series of questions by a skilled interviewer to pull the answers out of O'Donnell. Piers Morgan was fucking sloppy. Letterman would have gotten her to answer the questions. Anderson Cooper would have gotten her to answer the questions.

A simple answer of 'it's in the book' is not how she should have answered it. She could have answered the questions succinctly and moved on to the next one he was gonna pepper her with.
