What does a big star in google search mean?
 

When I log into gmail and go to google search, some sites will come up with
a big yellow star to the far right.

I can't find any info to explain what it means.

Did I put it there somehow because I visited the site before?

I think that's a settings thing. Either notifications or you if not then it's something like you can highlight certain messages or people with stars. It's in Settings somewhere. But since I'm watching my beloved Yankees right now with my GF I won't be providing any more info. Good luck tho! :)

I'm serious here ok.

It doesn't seem to be about messages or people.
It looks like a rating of the webpage more than anything else.

But I only see it when logged into gmail.

Are they in your Google bookmarks?

That would be what it is.

Only one thing though; I don't have any google bookmarks period.

Maybe one day I clicked the star and didn't even know it.
I'm pretty sure I clicked it now that I'm looking at firefox.
It's right next to the history drop button so I've clicked by accident
for sure.
