Amerinoc hosting review?

Lots of short downtimes in the past month, it all adds up and hurts income. What is going on? What are other comparable hosting alternatives?

Brujah 08-21-2011 11:37 AM

I use Pingdom.com to monitor my Amerinoc account. If you're not familiar with that, it will send an email anytime it can't connect to a service. Half of any downtime I've experienced was my doing, but the rest is the occasional maintenance, and issues. Pingdom says my account is at 99.92% uptime for the past year.

In my experience, they've been a solid host with great support. I recommend them to friends all the time.

You have a dedicated server. That is not what most people here have with them so your uptime data does not apply.

We have one virtual server that has had some recent chronic issues with some accounts that became abusive suddenly after being normal accounts for over a year. The accounts are being removed as they arise. Why don't you contact us directly so we can address your concerns for you?

It is definitely on more than one server. I have contacted you many times about this, I just get the 'we are aware of the situation' replies. Your support however is great, except for this (major) issue.

Then why don't you contact me directly so I can take care of this problem you seem to have across multiple servers?

Had those same issues when I was on a small shared virtual. Constant annoying email, mysql and downtime issues. I was hesitant at first because I didn't want to spend more money on hosting if I didn't need it, but I finally upgraded to a vps and the issues pretty much stopped. Might be time for you to just go ahead and upgrade.

Never a problem with these guys.

I had similar issues to your own...

I looked for the best support, the lowest price and the most bang for the buck.

I found Cyberwurx. It is amazing to be able to get fast support 24/7/365!

hit me up for a free month of virtual hosting if you get downtime and dont like the service you can leave at end of month and owe nothing.

CYF 08-21-2011 08:12 PM

my small shared account at Amerinoc has been great. Experienced a little bit of downtime over the past year, but I have dedicated servers as well so nothing critical is hosted there. I use it for a test account.

I've used them for years n years and yes, there has been a bit of downtime in the recent while, but that doesn't touch the service and consistency they've offered over time.
