Cash for gold businesses are booming
 

I was watching CNN last night and they had a story about how the cash for gold businesses are booming. They went to one location and talked to the owner who let them follow along for a few transactions. He said they are getting around 700 customers a day compared to about 150 per day that they were averaging about 5 years ago.

It's worth noting these companies are trying to buy your gold. When they flip the script and start to try to sell their gold as aggressively then I will start to look to exit my gold position.

True. The guy was saying some of the stuff they meld down and sell the gold and some of the it clean up and sell for a profit. I bet everyday people com in an sell jewelry that is worth a lot more than just the value of the gold and don't even realize it.

I have an aunt that was running her own cash for gold business(she still might, haven't seen her in a while) and she was making a killing off of it.

Maybe the price of gold is being driven up so that people with cash it in and then spend the money into the economy? Do we have any conspiracy theorists here at GFY that can elaborate on this one?

Had just picked up SellYourGold.org off the drop recently and overall have been considering getting into lead gen. Maybe that's a good area to do it.

That does not suprise me. I saw a lot of advertisement. It must be very profitable.
