I felt it here in Montreal and my brother, all the way in Vernon British Columbia, felt it too. Maybe the earth just tilted a little on its axis. Nothing to fear, move along.

I didn't feel it where I am outside of Buffalo but some friends in surrounding towns did.

I had one of those a few weeks ago, turned out just being a 6.0 but scared the living shit outta me.

no fucking way that was a 6.0 while reports coming in of it being felt in missisippi and canada

I kept looking up here and there at the TV (I'm working right now lol) just HOPING his Studios would just start shaking and falling down around him

People ran out in the street. It was fun - people are funny when they are trying to get out of a building. Some people are polite and mostly the biggest, fattest guys run out screaming.

As somebody that grew up in and around Baltimore, I can tell you that these tremors are very rare. I do not ever recall feeling one in the 31 years I was there. There would be reports of them and a few people in some towns would feel them, but just about everybody in the Baltimore/DC metro area felt this one. Some people I know had things fall off their shelves down in the Annapolis area. The plates in that area have been known to be very stable.

It wasn't that bad. I was on a bridge on falls road over the light rail. Felt a wave of sorts for 10 seconds. Then nothing. Minor, very minor.
