What's the best site to get some good ol' fashion outsourcing bidding done? (elance, rentacoder, etc)

I've tried hiring off of elance and rentacoder before, about 4 years back.

My experience is:

- Elance resulted in high bids, the layout was nice and the project was finished on time but not sure if it was worth the money.

- Rentacoder was cheap. And the results were cheap.

Has anything changed? Any newer bidding services in the business?

rentacoder is now vworker and according to me, the results are great! Can definitely recommend. Stay away from guys with less than five reviews and try to get one of the top 1000 coders. I'm very happy!

dont work with indians or pakistanis... or filipinos... i dont give a fuck what people say, i've spent over a quarter mil on outsourced development and have never had a positive experience with them

western (us,ca,uk) & eastern european coders (with good feedback) are the only way i'll go

I've thus far had a majority of good expirience with Filipinos, but I guess it probably depends on the kind of work - in our case it was admin work and content writing (mainstream).
