5 months past tsunami - amazing images
Some amazing shots taken about 5 months after the tsunami that wreaked havoc on Japan.

If that was my house with a boat on top I would ask them to leave it there. I could live in it!
|
Amazing to see how fast some of that was cleaned up.
|
Japanese are unlike the US... Here in the states you want to get paid or you ain't lifting a finger... In Japan you help on your off time because it is for the good of the country. People who don't help are shunned.

Nice thread.
Is a good news.:thumbsup |
check this shit out..
|
stunning
|
Nice slide thingy...
|
That's a pretty cool slide they have on those pics. And yeah the Japanese know how to band together for their nation and not for each other, much respect for that.
|
they cleaned up some serious shit!

He/she thought the same before dying...

Am I the only one who is sick of those fucking slider things? Show me both images dammit, that slider thing makes it impossible to really see the differences.

We turn no blind eye nor do we have sympathy or admiration for Japan ... http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/20...3600024165.jpg |
The last picture still has the massive boat! How are they going to get rid of that?

the picture with the large ship just really goes to show you the immense power the water had.

Pretty fucking crazy. I wonder if the person in the car video made it out alive. I doubt it.

Crazy shit!

In spite of the "massive" clean up efforts, the places pictured are still destroyed. They're no no better off than they were in March - just a little tidier. Except for that field with the massive tanker rusting in it. |

I think it ends not so good... |
Check out the boat, you can see where they rigged power lines in it to have power haha

Good for them on moving so good.
|
Am I the only one who thought, why not just take the buildings too? You are all applauding that they removed the debris in 5 months? Not sure that I saw as much change as you guys did.

My husband and I visited Hiroshima when he was stationed at Camp Zama ... Yes the Japanese people's animosity is still very much alive but that's okay.. but.. if the Americans display animosity or hatred towards Japan's action at Pearl Harbor it's considered racist against another culture ... Perhaps if you were brave enough to wear a uniform instead of being a judgmental coward you would understand ... I have absolutely no pity or mercy for any country who decides to attack the United States ... |
Pretty fast!
|
those guys from Japan are incredible - good job there I guess
