5 months past tsunami - amazing images

Some amazing shots taken about 5 months after the tsunami that wreaked havoc on Japan.

If that was my house with a boat on top I would ask them to leave it there. I could live in it!

pornguy 08-24-2011 05:35 AM

Amazing to see how fast some of that was cleaned up.

V_RocKs 08-24-2011 05:48 AM

Japanese are unlike the US... Here in the states you want to get paid or you ain't lifting a finger... In Japan you help on your off time because it is for the good of the country. People who don't help are shunned.

Adwank Pro 08-24-2011 05:58 AM

Nice thread.
Is a good news.:thumbsup

BlackCrayon 08-24-2011 06:03 AM

CyberHustler 08-24-2011 06:22 AM

Nice slide thingy...

Shey 08-24-2011 06:30 AM

That's a pretty cool slide they have on those pics. And yeah the Japanese know how to band together for their nation and not for each other, much respect for that.

seeandsee 08-24-2011 06:45 AM

they cleaned up some serious shit!

I really don't know what the fuck I would do in that situation.

Fabien 08-24-2011 07:01 AM

He/she thought the same before dying...

potter 08-24-2011 08:04 AM

Am I the only one who is sick of those fucking slider things? Show me both images dammit, that slider thing makes it impossible to really see the differences.

I'd say you get the hell out of the car soon as possible. I think once he decided to stay in the car and it started floating he was fucked. Was probably a very limited time once they saw the water to try and make a run for one of those buildings and after that I'd guess they are screwed and in it for the ride.

Yea, I was wondering that same, because other than the obvious damage done by the tsunami it appears they did very little "extra" damage by removing the boat. Not that it matters I guess as I'm sure that building structure is is likely damaged beyond repair anyway.

I would just leave it there.... Kind of cool.

Choopa Phil 08-24-2011 10:18 AM

the picture with the large ship just really goes to show you the immense power the water had.

JamesGw 08-24-2011 10:26 AM

Pretty fucking crazy. I wonder if the person in the car video made it out alive. I doubt it.

First thing I thought was, "I want that slidy thing for my websites..."

In spite of the "massive" clean up efforts, the places pictured are still destroyed. They're no no better off than they were in March - just a little tidier. Except for that field with the massive tanker rusting in it.

Good for them on moving so good.

slapass 08-25-2011 08:27 AM

Am I the only one who thought, why not just take the buildings too? You are all applauding that they removed the debris in 5 months? Not sure that I saw as much change as you guys did.

I remember seeing one of the enola fags crying about what a piece of shit he was for dropping the bomb... from 42 to 45 thats all Americans did, was firebomb civilians, mostly women and children across Japan and then we capped it off with a nuke thanks to Oppenheimer. Baka Gaijin Ga!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cooldude7 08-31-2011 05:24 AM

Anyone can feel sorrow but the fact remains Hiroshima and Nagasaki paid the ultimate price for Emperor Hirohito's decision to bomb Pearl Harbor ...

Oh goodness.. but of course Japan was surgical with their air strike in the merciless bombing and killing of innocent people of Pearl Harbor correct ? ...

My husband and I visited Hiroshima when he was stationed at Camp Zama ... Yes the Japanese people's animosity is still very much alive but that's okay.. but.. if the Americans display animosity or hatred towards Japan's action at Pearl Harbor it's considered racist against another culture ...

Perhaps if you were brave enough to wear a uniform instead of being a judgmental coward you would understand ...
I have absolutely no pity or mercy for any country who decides to attack the United States ...

adultchatpay 08-31-2011 06:32 AM

Pretty fast!

Nydahl 08-31-2011 06:38 AM

As soon as I saw the water coming I would've driven my vehicle to the nearest building and used it to climb on the roof.

My Pimp 08-31-2011 09:26 AM

It got better. But not as much as I expected.
