Gadhafi surrounded near compound

Tripoli, Libya (CNN) -- Rebel fighters believe that Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi is holed up in a cluster of buildings near his compound and have dispatched more troops to the scene, a rebel commander said Thursday.

It must be noted that Qadhafi isn?t the only world leader with rumored affections for Rice. Canadian then-Foreign Minister Peter McKay was rumored to be one such leader when the two met for talks in 2006; former British Foreign Minister Jack Straw and former Italian Foreign Minister Massimo D?Alema have been subject to similar such rumors, says The New York Times.

Why would anyone listen to what those rebels say? It's a wonder they've accomplished anything. Almost any news footage I see shows them running around like retarded chickens, spraying gunfire in every direction. There has to be so many friendly kills with those idiots.

I think their victory is more of a testament to the weakness and ineptitude of the Gahdafi's troops.

Perhaps the footage you saw were of people that could be classified as rebels. But, this is no mere rebel movement. These are not reckless morons without leadership or purpose.

Our media does such a poor job of telling the truth, if it bothers to at all. Look a little deeper and you'll see that these "rebels" have worked with NATO to plan and plot attacks. They purchased unmanned drones from a Canadian company that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars each. They already have leadership and temporary government structure in place. They are capturing the Gaddafi sons instead of executing them. And example after example of why this is no mere group of rebels.

They keep talking "snipers" and "Gaddafi loyalists" (aka the legitimate Libyan Government) holding out. The fighting probably ended a week ago and continued injuries and deaths are down to raining bullets from dipshits firing in the air.

And it might not actually even be that far from the truth:

Quote:

Shooting an automatic weapon into the sky to signal an occasion one welcomes is a popular practice in much of the world, as the footage of Libyan anti-Gaddafi forces seizing the main square of the capital city has demonstrated.

But it is a potentially fatal activity, which regularly results in the deaths of bystanders.

[...]

A US study found that 118 people were treated for random "falling-bullet injuries" at one Los Angeles medical centre between 1985 and 1992, resulting in the deaths of 38.

[...]

As a result, a number of US states including California, Texas, Arizona and Ohio outlaw firing a gun into the air. In Minnesota, it is specifically forbidden in cemeteries.
