fuck that sucks all I can get is charter in this area and those speeds are Up To 12megs.

I'm lucky to get past 3 megs and that's on a good day.

Changed providers recently, was faster before but limited to 125gb/month.. Now it's unlimited, so I'll take the slower speeds any day.

Upload speed is the same at both.

I pay $65/mo for internet + voip line now, with no chances of "overages"

Before it was $77/mo for internet, + $7 modem rental, + $50 overage, + $26 voip = $160

Anyone that has access to Verizon FIOs needs to get it NOW! I fucking love FIOS, the speeds are incredible and it's only gone down once for 10 minutes in the past year.

I called them... I noticed my bill had crept up to about $200 and some change... I made a post here about it... I am not always about the 2002 bumps...

Anyway... So I checked out their latest offer and it added a shitload of sweet channels and what not. Turns out my GF accidentally switched our long distance about 3 months ago to someone else... So now we were able to get a "new" customer bundle again. $74.99 or some shit for faster Internet, 75 channels including the Speed channel, Outdoors, Fishing, all the shit a man needs to brush up on being a man... (see my toothbrush thread)...

So yeah... I called them. Knocked about $50 off of my bill and gave me more channels and faster Internet... How does that work?

Crazier shit is the same day I get a call from DirecTV. They want me back and they will wave any and all fees, plus pay for my Verizon cancellation fee and give me a $25 a month credit for a year, plus DirecTV is giving away NFL package... So now I have to decided on doing all of that shit... I might drop the phone altogether and just have Internet.

Somebody I know who is a network architect at comcast and is working on the upgrade posted his 110mbps test/beta/whatever speeds to Facebook. If I recall, the up was 30+...can't remember that one.

Who knows how long it'll be until we get that in our homes though.
