Anyone making bank with Google Affiliate Network?

Thinking of having another crack at mainstream promotions and don't like CJ and noticed the Google Affiliate Network. Anyone use it?

I haven't used It but just like you I'm interested in hearing if people have and what their results are.

We do very well with it.

V_RocKs 08-29-2011 03:28 AM

I am banned from it... probably for good reason too... I guess they just don't like making money.

Have you also used CJ? Was wondering how it compared? I always hated CJs backend - so slow and awkward.

Use PEER FLY , best CPA mainstream network!

They even have INSTANT payouts (min 50$)
so if you have good traffic, then you will get paid fast (-small fee) and work with best people in industry

Tracking is accurate, payouts are sweet, new offers every few days, sweet tools to use...

Could using their affiliate network have any possible effect on rankings? I've always been afraid of installing analytics because of this.

The one thing I have always wondered about Google was that the few mainstream sites I ever had Adsense on never got much international traffic - only Australian (where I am from). Obviously they know the webmaster is Australian from the Adsense account so then they assume the site is made for Australians?

We promote products offered through most major affiliate networks and a few smaller ones. We don't actually go to the back ends of any of them, we've had tools made for us to find products easily from our desktops while we use other tools like Market Samurai for keyword research. However even Market Samurai let's you find products in some affiliate marketplaces without logging into them.

If you're going to be getting real serious about affiliate marketing, hire a coder to build a custom solution that lets you grab and analyze products from all the marketplaces and present it to you in one desktop app. It makes the whole process alot easier and you can make scientific decisions about what to promote.

Hahaha.. yeah, Google is so shitty at making money, they're not doubt sitting around a conference room right now trying to figure out how to get the goofball with the popped collar back so they can finally start inching towards profitability.

You sound like a man with a finger in many tarts. :) Hopefully I can create a mainstream site that is successful as some of my best adult sites and then replicate that via some sort of automation like you mention. I've never had any particularly successful mainstream sites compared to adult which has always put me off going into big time. I want to change that this time, maybe get back into PPC again too.

Where is your server physically located?

That can make a difference.

Interesting thoughts about the Adsense account info, I have some .uk sites on a uk server, but I am from the US. I will think twice now before adding adsense to them.
