What is the best format for offering video content? WMV? MP4? FLV? Why are certain formats better than others?

Hi jjump, my computer guy says that flv is the best for the internet, not sure what others would say.

Cannot say this. Different video formats for different goals. Streaming, progressive downloading, etc.

mp4 is the future :)

The best idea if you have a paysite its upload all the options for your members....i use elevatedx and they make the life more easy with a transcode

mp4 is probably the best bet. Remember that Flash won't work on the iPad...
