A question for anyone who knows anything at all about anything.
If you are going to hold a job, you have to be at least a little smart, right? If you are going to hold an office job, you have to be fairly smart. If you're going to be a politician, I would say you have to be pretty damn smart.
Why then do complete idiots like Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin and Christine O'donnell, ever get as far as they do? I swear, Bachmann makes a chimp look like genius. 90% of the things she says are completely wrong, and she can't ever, ever, admit a single mistake. She's clueless about elementary school science and history, and is a religious nut job on top of that. How, how HOW does anyone like this even get a job cleaning toilets let alone become a presidential contender? |
I'm sure some backroom blowjobs have something to do with it. I can't confirm it, but i'm willing to take it on faith.

By promising moneyed interest that they will get much richer if she get in.....and, they give her some money now to run on.
Bought and sold.....in my opinion. |
By appealing to the old kooks who never miss an opportunity to pull the lever.
When it comes to President, it kind of sucks because those of us registered as Independent do not get to help choose the candidates that will be up in the general election. At the same time I value my independence too much to join a party as I do not feel like I fit in with either agenda. |

Which wouldn't have happened without student loans, fucking one of her professors, and the IRS hiring her. All of which she riles people to hate and abolish. |
Politics is not about your intelligence, it is about convincing enough people to vote for you. They are smart enough to understand that there are like minded people out there so they go and find them and get them to vote for for them.
You can look at where some of the these people come from and see how they did well. In Alaska Ted Stevens had been convicted and was going to jail. He was still on the ballot during the election and got about 35% of the vote. that means either 35% of the people are stupid or they would rather have a crook republican than a democrat. O'donnnell is a lifelong candidate who lives off of her elections. She got about 30K votes to win the primary in her state in the last election and got her ass handed to her in the general election. The same can be said for Bachmann. She comes from a place where catering to a specific extreme group will work for you. All you have to be able to do these days is be charming and convince people you are just like them and feel their pain and you have a shot at getting elected. |
Look for the answer in the audience they appealed to.
None of them would get elected in a country of better educated people. |
It's because they have had history over the government since day one.. A line of generations and generations of the USA. That's what i think anyway.. I myself think I'm pretty damn smart compared to those retards.
|
Being smart doesn't automatically mean 'naturally good at all things'. Even stupid people can have skills or a narrow specialty. Like a certain instinctual cunning about
getting people to like them... |

The key to it all for her was 1. She is/was good looking 2. she knew the power of the pussy 3. gave great head. That's all it takes for a chic to get anywhere if they really want to - blowjob + pussy that they're willing to use and be half good looking or work the fuck out. |
Nobody is perfect. The people with great skills are not perfect. They have flaws, too.

Six weeks before running, one candidate said it would be totally irresponsible for him to run for president because he had only a couple months of relevant experience and "I believe you should know what you're doing when you apply for a job." Even though he told us he was completely unqualified for the job and shouldn't run, we elected Obama anyway. Even the more educated among us, the small business owners, more often than not base our political choices on what's suggested on Comedy Central. The big issue is the economy. How many of us have spent an hour or two learning about economics? I bet fewer than one percent can even name the two major branches of economics. Rather we just go with whatever MSNBC or Fox News says. It's no wonder we elect congresspeople 95% of whom can't pass a high school economics test either. |

What do Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin and Christine O'donnell have in common? They all have breasts. |
Do you play chess? Regardless of how intelligent you are we are all one or 2 stupid moves away from losing. The principles are virtually the same with politics. They are more likely very intelligent people, but they say 2-3 even 20 stupid things people start thinking you are dumb and you lose. There is just more coverage now, more access to verbal blunders.
Everyone says things that can be taken out of context or are just outright stupid. It's just that we aren't under the microscope as much. I'll admit both Palin and Bachmann have been gaff magnets however... |
Soap Opera
People vote the best TV ad. We sell our politicians in the media ... |
I wouldn't vote for any of thoes vaginas if a gun was held to my head, said the same thing about Obama too.
Sad thing is these vaginal politicians STILL have more experience as Obama had when he was running for president. So to think they can't be voted in is a big mistake. People are stupid. At least with a Vaginal President there's always a chance we can see a nip slip / upskirt or a sextape. Much more interesting than a ball drop or something from Obama's gym shorts. :winkwink: |
