Tomorrow Phase 2 will finish and the TOP 5 from each category will become official nominees and pass to the final round that will be open from September 2nd till the 16th, based on the votes of the GFY community.

In the final round, voting results will be hidden to keep you all excited and winners will be announced during the main GFY Party of Webmaster Access.

To oversee the final round of voting we will be enlisting a group of industry respected professional from different companies to validate the winners. Will have access to the admin to verify that all is clear and transparent.

Otherwise, while I am surprised/flattered/happy to have even been nominated, and appreciate that some people actually voted for me, I wish to have my name withdrawn from consideration for this award this year, and to have JustDaveXXX be advanced to the next round in my place (I'm transferring my votes to him).

JustDaveXXX truly is one of the top web producers in the biz (he recently won Brazzer's $1 Million Director Search contest).

One suggestion I have for these awards (at least for this category), is to have the participating finalists post some samples of their work so that people voting actually know whom/what they are voting for/on (I was unfamiliar with a few of the nominee's work).

Finally, I must say that I am quite honored that I came in last place in the Ban Hammer award category, with only one vote (out of 130 cast):
