what do ya'll think of this design compared to my current.
 

i know the concept is similar but i think it defiantly looks nicer than our current theme.. can i get some advice? all i can do for now is buy a pre made theme at the moment, i know a custom design would be best but thats not in the works at the money

The layout of the current theme is not bad. I think you should just edit your css get some better colors. Do a search for color theory. Pick a hot scheme maybe something tropical something hot and just change the colors. Maybe add some borders around the thumbs and use a smaller header so that the first row of thumbs is visible.

Definitively change the colors!!!! Honestly the site just looks too common at the moment... : )))

The desing is good. But not good enough for a pay site.
