the problem isn't that Google+ gathers this information - I would too

the problem is that some countries have BS policies and LOVE to snoop on people, countries that pretend to be free and pretend to have privacy laws

ie The United States

I tend to agree with you on this, the countries that pretend to be free are the ones slowly by stealth introducing some of the most vile laws in the world. Often they pass laws that are Orwellian in nature...then just sort of sit on them without actually doing anything...sort of like saving them to use at a later date.
In Australia, the same American company that set up the internet firewall in China is developing the same thing for Australia.

Big Brother is watching !
