I have been wearing them for years. I was up at their factory sale in Port Washington earlier this summer and picked up two more pair. Most comfortable shoes I own. They also have a program where you can send them back when they are worn out or simply need some TLC. I've done it twice and they do great work.

yes once you start wearing HQ leather shoes you won't really want to switch back... I do wear vans for shooting though

AE's are great! Used to wear them a back in the day when I had to "dress professionally" on a daily basis. Since those days I've pretty much been in sneakers with a pair of Cole-Haan tassel loafers buried in the closet for the occasional special occasion.

Sorry I don't remember if the AE's ran true to size or not as I outgrew them quite awhile ago. I think I remember seeing them in Nordstrom, if you live in an area that has them or an AE retail store then you might be able to get sized there and then just order online.

Most of the AE shoes I have are a 1/2 size smaller than the ones I buy elsewhere.

That's a classy looking shoe. I agree, women check out watches and shoes first, there's no denying it. The shoe has to fit with the rest of the outfit,though.

I like the 'timeless style' myself... yes lots of styles although AE tends to stay away from square toes from I've seen

my expereince as well... wear 11 in other shoes...
