Integrating CCBill and Google Analytics

Anyone here find it useful to integrate CCBill and Google Analytics? As CCBill and Zombaio both have places to enter Google Analytics info, I thought it might be interesting to try out.

don't bother, it half ass works

i wanted it to display the ref url of the sales to double check ccbill's, but all it shows is: bill.ccbill.com / referral for all the sales

however you can get some other helpful info such as what countries, browsers, resolutions, etc etc are doing sales and some other stuff

all in all it's worth having but don't expect a whole lot

maybe someday it will get better

What he said. Save yourself the month I spent going back and forth only to find that the intermediary page a surfer is transferred to, after a sale, doesn't carry the code over to the final transaction complete page. CCBill sets the code on the transaction complete page.

You can get a bit more info, the conversion rate of hits, if you create a goal in analytics :thumbsup

Yes, that is good advice, I do that also. Set the goal as being somebody clicking the buy page, and then you will also get inormation on how many people thought about buying but didn't...... and if it is a lot, gives you good reason to re-examine your buy page.

Do any of y'all bother with the ecommerce tagging to check how worthwhile AdWords and such are?

I've noticed there is a thing for the paysites, but I don't know about whether it is available on the affiliate side. So far, it doesn't seem to be pulling a lot of data on the paysite side.

I'm afraid this is going to be the upshot of this experiment.

You find any documentation on CCBill integration anywhere? All I've seen is the CCBill text and movie about entering the Analytics code in the admin, but CCBill doesn't seem to have anything about what they think their implementation is supposed to track.

Set the final goal on the "transaction successful" page for a nice handle on declines

I like to see the warning > join funnel, but it's vital to see warning > join confirmation

You may not be able to follow through all of CCBill's pages, but you can track on your own confirmed / denied pages, which surfers are redirected post-CCBill processing.

ccbill really needs to work on this, you can't track conversions back to the source which is one of the most fundamental uses of Google Analytics, or any type of tracking system. Been trying for a month to find some sorta work around but have come up empty so far.

There is a box to enter your code, but the stats which show up in GA are . . . let's call them inapplicable.
