Installing Wp again.. and again
 

Maybe GF should have a corner just for WP-stuff, so all you people could avoid seeing all my WP-posts... :p (No, it's not that many)

I haven't found a good solution to this, but this is the what:

I install wordpress, theme, plugins etc etc.

Is it any ok way to "save" that setup and just upload it to next server i'm going to use WP?
Especially when it comes to plugz it's the same that goes again, so that would be timesaving.

Why not at least set up the files and directories on your local machine, tar it up and then upload the .tar every time you need to install wordpress?

Sometimes the solution might be to simple to see :)
I even have a virtual test-server on my machine, so yes. Why not?

I don't mean actually install it but what I do is unzip wordpress, unzip the plugins I always use and drop them into the plugin directory. Then I tar up my new, customized wordpress installation. When I want to install WP again, I just upload the .tar, untar and set a few options in the admin. It usually doesn't take more than a few minutes.

WPTwin works for this, clones your entire Wordpress setup...someone recommended it to me on here and I have been using it ever since.
